That's a long way to get to Greece! I have a little pillow like yours, it does helps when you have to sleep while sitting up! I had a trip planned to Athens in 2020, but that didn't work out! Don't remember why! 😂😂 Have fun in Greece! I guess the weather is still pretty good this time of year!
Wow, what a journey! It's amazing to see you travel from Austin to Athens with stops at such iconic places. You are now ready to tackle a trip to Taiwan...
Oh my God, your journey sounds really lengthy. It's true that it's not an easy trip with all those flight and gate changes, but being a lover of Greece, I can tell you it's worth it. I wish you a wonderful stay in this beautiful country, and I look forward to your next videos eagerly.
I can’t wait to see more footage from Athens Greece! Phew 24 hours of travel is a lot. And I’ve been intrigued of staying in the TWA hotel but never have. I hear it’s underwhelming which doesn’t have me a rush now. But I still want to go. And very interesting on how the train pass works.
Yeah I'm not sure about the rooms. I think the draw is the set up of the place. It's sort of nostalgic for those that are old enough to have flown TWA like my mom. But, even looking around, once the initial historical value sunk in it was a bit boring.
Wow that's a deal for 28 nights of accommodations! I don't tend to use vacation rentals but I might in future. That is definitely one long travel journey. Never flew into Gatwick but sees like a decent airport. I'm not a fan of layovers - I try to go direct as much as possible - but Toronto is definitely much closer than Texas to Greece!
This combo was weirdly enough there cheapest. There are no direct flights from Austin to Athens and any combo details were at least 200-300$ more. I booked each flight independently. I actually saw cheaper earlier on for AirBnbs in Athens. I just didn't have the money saved up until September.
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon very interesting - I guess depends on where you are for flight costs and options. Canadian airlines seem to be very expensive so I like to look at others as well. Can't wait to see more of what you got up to on your trip.
Its quiet a long flight but I know in travel you enjoy no matter how long it is. Greece is aways been part of our Euro trip but left out every time we made our final plan, would love to see it through you lens
What a trip, great start to what's going to be a great tour of Greece i'm sure. You ditched the beard, I almost didn't recognize you. 3 flights is a lot to get through.
The plane from Austin to Athens was paid partly with points and partly with card. I think getting to Athens cost me about a little over $500 total with food along the way. The Airbnb for 1 month was just over 900$ after taxes and cleaning fees.
Looks like quite the adventure can’t wait to see you explore Greece more and it’s architectural beauty
Oh the next video is going to be epic.

Girl same! Although mine was 2021 but, I'm sure it was due to the same pesky little bug.

Believe me it's been worth it so far!
OOF - what a crazy travel day! But ending in Greece makes it worth it. Can't wait to see your travels!
It was so worth it. Still slept the whole next day.

That's quite an awesome journey you had, may be bit tiring too. But I guess it is worth to explore.

I do enjoy the travel. I was still extremely tired after it all though lol

Lol don't worry it's slowly growing back.
How much did all of this cost?
