    Garry....thanks for this video. I just got a 2022 Caymas CX21 and it has a livescanner on it. Two questions........my arrow isn't working, also, key fobs aren't working, and thirdly, power seems to intermittantly not work. The light on the pedal is on but sometimes the unit doesn't move when you press the pedal. Any help is appreciated. Keep up the good work sir.

      Thanks. So, check the basics first. Is it getting good solid power (get a voltage meter and learn how to use it)? Are the connections tights? Everything plugged in tight? If all of that is good then check the following.
      Does the pole still move the transducer? If so, then I would try to remove the arrow to see if there is a stripped gear underneath. If not, then there is something wrong with either the controller or power source. If the key fob isn't working first make sure that the remote module is plugged in securely. If it is, then the fob needs to be re-paired with the controller, contact support at Livescanner and they will be able to help you. If power is intermittent then I would check all of your connections for the power leads (fuse, battery connection, etc.). If that you don't find anything then, open up the foot pedal to make sure that all of wires are securely attached since they may have loosened up.
      Do you have the speed set too low for the motor to kick in? Or does that happen at all speeds? If it happens with the speed turned from a quarter turn to full speed, then you are having an issue with either the motor or controller. Or it could be related to the power issue that you mentioned. Again, it would be best to contact their support. If you are close to New Hampshire, then I could look at it for you to further diagnose the problem(s).

      @@garrywoodruff960 Wow.....thanks for the in depth response Garry. I actually live in CT just south of Springfield Mass and go up to Lake Champlain several times a year. I am not far from New Hampshire. I actually want to go through the entire boat with someone that knows what they're doing and just understand how it has been set up from the previous owner in order for me to know and troubleshoot as well as make some upgrades in the future. As far as the live scanner, I ordered a new arrow after looking in the top of the unit. The plastic pieces that help it in place were broker. I just super glued it and carefully put it on and it worked. I will replace it with a new one when it arrives. The key fabs.......I will investigate how to re-pair them with the controller. I have the TRUE-SCAN model I believe. The unit worked fine on the water the other day. Seems like once I fixed the arrow the unit worked!!! Let me know if you'd be willing to go through the boat with me and what the service charge would be.
