- Hey Transformers fans! As you all know the Transformers Rise of The Beasts Trailer 2 dropped around a week ago and man it was definitely worth the wait! In this video, I will be breaking down the Transformers Rise of The Beasts trailer literally frame by frame since there are so many easter eggs and little details in this trailer that has to be mentioned, so sit back relax and grab your favorite snack since this video is yet another awesome breakdown!

it was done well in tf prime but knowing how the bay movies go, they probably wouldnt have handled it well. i hope rotb does unicron justice

Seeing Unicron appear in the movie, with his G1 look, goes to show how they’re going all out with this movie, and I love it.

My theory for Reek is that he’ll likely be Noah’s childhood friend or something and since they’re both anti authoritarian characters Reek probably persuades Noah into stealing the Porsche.
His reaction in the trailer is him being excited after seeing Noah taking it for a joyride not knowing that it’s actually a transformer.

It seems like it is a different one the transformer at museum has spikes on her back but airazor don't have any spikes on her back.

Im curious if they added Predacons as a Suprise, it could be terrorsaur trying to get back at scourge for Unicron destroying his "home planet" and he ends up dying there too, which allows optimus and bee to escape. which is how scourge gets the predacon badge on his grill

edit: I think that Wheeljack's fins will and will not glow, because he has a mouth, but he's also said to have a battle mask, so maybe when his mouth is visible, the fins won't glow, but when the battle mask comes up, they will glow. but that's just my theory.

Ima gonna say it, Transit only had three versions. RID (2015), Idw, and his rotb version. Which is not a bad thing, I'm glad he's getting his first live action debute
I think the film might start off with prime killing transit, and the post credits would be megs and maybe shockwave

Prime saying "This is not our war" kinda reminds me of WFC Kingdom where the Maximals are reluctant to join the bots
What I want to see from this new continuity is that in bumblebee, the decepticons do not currently know where the autobots are hiding and the terrocons are searching for the maximals. So after rotb I want the see the decepticons uncover the autobots thanks to the attack by scourge and unicron and then the next few movies dealing with the decepticons again. Therefore we get this movie which has no decepticon villains at all and the next movie will deal with the original good vs evil robots.

@Theorymus, looks like I was right about the museum scene, It seems Optimus went alone to fight the terrorcons but lost. That makes sense on why he is pinned. So it is most likely he was fighting all the terrorcons at once
I love how the new safehouse is Terminal Island. (If you have seen Death Race, you'll get it)
Since maximals and predacons are from another planet but still cybertronian. It feels like the colony worlds from transformers cybertron
Seeing WheelJack and Arcee fighting together in that final fight is Amazing. I know people still gonna hate the New WheelJack design (even though it's been 4 mouth and the trend os over now) But I still like this design.

What if Reek is Memo from the Bumblebee movie, now I know that they aren't the same actor and don't share the same name, but Memo probably wasn't his real name, it was probably a nickname, which means that Reek could just be another nickname for him which also explains why Reek is freaking out at the sight of Mirage and also explains him being a main character
Fun fact : in scourge scene where he meets up with unicron, you can see his back has similiarity to AOE/TLK prime, making that theory of him as a reshaped prime from alternate timeline stronger, though the most logical explanation is just model CGI reused, but still its an interesting theory to talk about

One detail you missed was that when it shows the city bridge ,you can see 3 lights in the water moving which are the terrorcons after they landed in the river

You forgot the part where in the 1994 title on the bridge, you can see the 3 lights coming from the water moving rapidly and those are the terrorcons because we can see them rise from the water in another scene.
I am an avid Bayverse fan but I will say that this movie just from the trailer, is going to be more epic than the entire Bayverse.

imagine if scourge us like “everyone i have ever. hunted has died” and he takes optimus autobot symbol BEFORE he kills him but them bumblebee jumps in to try help optimus but gets stabbed
Other than the “Bayverse Optimus-Scourge” theory one important thing to note is the apparent lack of government intervention in the movie so far, Bumblebee set up Sector 7 and even though it’s been 10 years their still probably pretty pissed at all Cybertronians, it’d be interesting to see if they have any influence in the movie

I didn’t really care for the government stuff, in fact, as a VERY young child I only liked transformers because, well, they transformed, but I see other E P I C stuff in transformers, and I love it now

I have 3 things to say, 1: I thought the guy watching the thunderstorm at the start was a background character, 2: it’s cool to know that a new terrocon will be in the movie, and 3: YESSSSSS FREEZER (might) BE IN THE MOVIE

The bird thing that is in the museum scene is not airaisor (Probably didn't spell that right). It has spikes and its head looks different. It is also shooting towards Optimus and Bumblebee. The scary music in the trailer also suggests that it is a bad thing. I think that is a predacon.

That shot of Battletrap hooking onto Nightbird to fire at the bots is the type of balls-to-the-wall spectacle for which I loved these movies! It reminded me of the shot in TF '07 where Mikaela straps Bumblebee to the tow truck and he starts shooting.
Also, I agree that the the Optimus line about it not being their war probably refers to the Maximals/Terracons conflict, and it would be consistent with Optimus's struggle between defending Earth and wanting to return to Cybertron.
Personally in the museum scene I don’t believe it’s a razor that is breathing fire. I believe that it’s something else because if you look on the back of the thing that is breathing, the fire, there’s clearly spikes and in other shots of the trailer that show a razor flying you can’t see those spikes but I could be wrong and it could just be that when she breathes fire the spikes pop-up
That would be cool, another thing that would be cool is that when she breaths fire, if her neck would glow and you could see the fire coming out from her neck, like tfp Preadaking
Great breakdown, but one note: Transit's render actually has him with kibble from a Rapid Transit Series bus, rather than a Classic. However, I'm fairly certain that he will still turn into a Classic bus as seen in my set photo, as I only ever saw those when I visited the location where they filmed Transit's scene.
I have a theory that Transit will play a similar role as Scavenger/Demolisher in ROTF. He'll get wuickly dispatched by Optimus and say something like "It's too late Prime. The Terrorcons are already on their way here" before dying.
That would be an interesting take, but we'll have to see.

The reason Prime's face looks off in the jungle from Ven Laszlo's interview with artists from both MPC and WetaFX. "This third artist said they are "behind ILM by 12yrs in quality for this film" and said to expect more scenes that feel off. It's not their fault. They said they worked their asses off." "For example the scenes that look off in the trailer originally meant to be fully CGI. The jungle and whatnot. But later on they decided on a cheaper method, which is just to film it and get minimal scans of the environment." "The artist did say they made the jungle in full CGI in pre-production for one shot, then, to save money they went to film there instead, but the scans, HDRIs are not the best. That's why Prime looks off. They don't have the proper reflections. It's about the lighting."
Some more things from Ven to point out.
-By now confirming that WetaFX did the final battle sequence, makes it more understandable why it looks like an Endgame scene. They did Engame as well.
- WetaFX was brought in later in production when MPC couldn't keep up with the CGI pipeline.
- The MPC Artist apologized for how Mirage turned out. He hates it, but he had less creative control than he used to.
- WetaFX did the final battle sequence we see in the trailer and far as I understood, they made Unicron as well.
- The "wonky" looking scenes were done by MPC.
- What we see is what we'll get. Not much will be changed. Just some finishing touches.
The drop pods must have been sent by Freezer. Because it’s said that he doesn’t transform. Freezer may have many clones via the final battle. A Freezer clone is chasing Noah and Elena. And the other clone is the mysterious Electroshock. A character that was leaked via core class studio series kudos to (The Fire Brothers). The sphere/drop-pods are electrical and Electroshock may have powered this. Just a little imformation. ⚡️

You missed something in the 1994 title scene in the trailer you Cam that there are 3 green lights under the bridge and those lights match up with the terrorcons due to it being 3 lights so i think the terrorcons have already scammed there venicle modes and got out of the water and those Scorpion army are actually predacon scorponok which pay ho age to transformers kingdom netflix Show where predacon scorponok are actually multiples of then

I wish the trailers would start using remixes of OG transformers themes like the beast wars or G1 theme. Maybe the Prime opening theme upon first meeting The Autobots. Also soundtracks from the prior movies, because those slapped hard. I feel like the director is gonna treat this like an 80s movie rather than a dedicated Transformers film and that concerns me. We need directors who are willing to target Transformers fans specifically in design, soundtrack, lore, etc. We got to see Unicron which is crazy, but the leaks plus Pablo, don’t give me much hope.
Things I loved about the chase scene with Battletrap and Nightbird is the fact that THEIR working together! which something deception rarely do.

I kept my expectations low for this trailer because of how disappointing the advertising up to that point. I was expecting 90% recycled footage from the first trailer. Because of that Unicron caught me completely off guard

I seriously do believe that since the movie has to do with time travel, Scourge is going to be Bayformers Optimus. Mostly due to the fact that Scourge strongly resembles him in the upper head, mouth, and middle face areas. We also know that Bayformers Optimus had grown to hate humans by AoE, and was susceptible to mind control in TLK. Hell, by the first half of RoF, he was already a villian with the way he destroyed Grindor

I have some hope this movie will be good cuz the 'Prime meets Primal' clip uploaded yesterday, trailer 2, & the fact that Peter Cullen & Steven Caple Jr. seem to be really happy abt this movie!! Also, this breakdown is awesome, keep it up! & its good you, Theorymus, had that sorta diagram & saying that the Knightverse (BBM & RotB) are in a totally separate continuity from the Bayverse. I also had a similar theory abt the Maximals' Planet! Man, this movie has sooo much potential to be awesome, no doubt abt that!

Those balls things is Unicron's Defense drones and those is a reference and basic on Unicron's Mini-Con Dead-End from Transformers Armada no joke Armada Dead-End is Unicron's Mini-Con in the anime show. So basically they wouldn't call it Dead-End just his defense drones try to get the Autobots and Maximals away. Thank you for the video.
My head cannon until conformed other wise is this is a branch timeline from the bay films, and that the beast traveled back in time from the bay timeline similar to the show, but instead of being a loop like in that it makes a new timeline that has some similarities but differences, and the future of Optimus primal said in the last trailer is the bay version future. I think this makes a lot of scense and has a decent chance of being true, as well as not
It also would be interesting to see how the discrepancy with the Autobot logo on Optimus’s truck would play out in the Studio Series toy. Like, is Hasbro going to include the Autobot logo or leave it out?
