Im almost 63 years old, can't walk far without my cane, and sometimes have no food to eat. I work when I'm able, and thats usually 1/2 to one day a week. I don't collect anything from any govt. , and don't want what I can't work for. I am alone in this struggle except for my little dog, but I am proud to be an American. In high school in the 60s my friend got a part time job working on the Ford assembly line. Now, a high school part time job is at Mc Donalds. Now a part time job is considered by the government as a full time job. Wages are stale. Sanders is only trying to find a way to get around a worsening situation. I do not agree with him but in his own way, he is showing that he cares about young people. So what is the solution? There really needs to be a restructuring of the economy. Banks should not be in charge of the money supply. Inflation and low interest rates are killing savers. Manufacturing jobs keep leaving the country. The answer is to put the control of the money supply back with the government. Commercial loans through the Fractional Reserve Banking system cause upward pressure on prices and they cause the boom and bust cycles. Also instead of an income tax, there needs to be in its place a consumption tax. Taxing production makes no sense.

I remember when the last thing you wanted was to have a government job. It meant you couldn't find a good job because you were lazy and no one would hire you so you settled for 20 years of dreading going to work everyday at a job you hated. Lazy losers is the reason Government is so non productive everyone there hates being there. The incentive for government workers is to do as little as possible for Twenty years then draw a pension

Things are not the same as they were 30 years ago in the economy. The possibilities are not as great for young people. In high school in the 60s my friend got a part time job working on the Ford assembly line. Now, a high school part time job is at Mc Donalds. Now a part time job is considered by the government as a full time job. Wages are stale. Sanders is only trying to find a way to get around a worsening situation. I do not agree with him but in his own way, he is showing that he cares about young people. So what is the solution? There really needs to be a restructuring of the economy. Banks should not be in charge of the money supply. Inflation and low interest rates are killing savers. Manufacturing jobs keep leaving the country. The answer is to put the control of the money supply back with the government. Commercial loans through the Fractional Reserve Banking system cause upward pressure on prices and they cause the boom and bust cycles. Also instead of an income tax, there needs to be in its place a consumption tax. Taxing production makes no sense.

I love the idea of guaranteed jobs. We are already paying nearly half the country in the form of welfare. It's time we get something for all that money. I want the trash along the roads and in parks to be picked up. I want graffiti on bridges are railcars to be scrubbed off. I want people to learn English so American businesses don't have to spend billions of dollars on interpreters. PUT THESE WELFARE LEECHES TO WORK. I have to say that this is one of the most ridiculous videos I've seen in quite awhile. Providing jobs and job training with a livable wage, instead of being stuck on unemployment, or homeless, or working 2-3 jobs to make ends meet is a bad thing? I guess they're gonna tell me that a cure for cancer is bad too because there's no profit in it for corporations.
Get a job, one where you actually produce something. Better yet start a business that employ's people, wade through the unknowable regulations, make sure you don't forget to cross a T or dot an I on your endless government required documents, pay for your employees insurance and other benefits, pay at least 15 dollars an hour (a real hero would pay 25) pay them when they can't find a sitter or they don't feel like working............. Be a lot simpler to just Shut the F_ _ K up.

FDR's solutions made the great depression much longer than if the market was allowed to restore things on it's own. in fact WW2 had more to do with jobs returning
