Thank you! I finished Fall Time yesterday and spent this morning kitting down and cleaning up my craft space. I also started on finishing a WIP that my daughter started and hasn’t come back to-Ember the Sky Dragon from DAC. It’s a little snack sized project that I am ready to get off of our craft table. So…you kept me company this morning while I did all of that! 💙
Yay, a kit up video! Truly truly so in love with the look of the Elizabeth Ward trays, I really ought to put those on my christmas lists this year 😂 Love to hear that your migraines have left, anxiety meds are unfortunately just trial and error - and it takes so long to see whether they're for you or not. But once you find the right one, it's there 😊
Headaches can be so hard less ahold migraines because so many things can trigger them. I suffer from migraines and have many triggers. My chiropractor and I really realized I really get back with my neck and back tight. Then theirs things like weather and strong smells. I’m happy to hear your migraines have subsided.
😊😊😊😊Hi Katie, good morning. Love your WIP and Chats. Glad your Mom is visiting. I loved when my cousins from Nova Scotia would visit. I remember my sister and I dressing up for Halloween. I don't ever remember going to a Pumpkin patch. Probably because of my Asthma. I have my porch decorated. There is a House near where I live who entire front yard is Nightmare before Christmas. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I took costume in high school and in college. So, I love seeing all the different costumes. I got a bandana for my Doxle ( Dashshund Beagle mix) Herschel. I hope the bandana fits. I was looking at his neck, and I am thinking I should have went with a large. Weirdly we( the Royal We) didn't have wind here. Santa Anaes are very common this time of year. I hope to finish Pumpkin with Sunflowers by Gail Flores before 11:59pm PDT 2morrow. I have been dealing with severe attacks of TMJ. TMJ is a tiny nerve in your face right where your jaw hinge is. If you grind your teeth ( like me) sometimes the nerve will inflame. Yesterday I took Tegretol, Codeine, Zanaflex and three Advil Jell caps. Then I put heat on my face. Today I will do the same, except the heating pad. Kinda hard to hold a heating pad on one's face and Diamond paint at the same time. I want to wish you and your family a very Happy Halloween and start of the holidays.
The first time I was working on a painting, when the drills jumped out I was taken aback until I realized it was static electricity and not a magic effect. I love our flag means death. I think it is heartwarming. 🗾🗾🗾

I’m glad you’re going to see a psychiatrist. I went through my primary care and then went to a psychiatrist and she was dead on. I experience depression and anxiety. It’s part of who I am. Good luck. Blue

I LIGHTLY spray my cut dryer sheet squares with Static Guard (from a distance), insert the sprayed squares into the baggies/containers, shake, and let dry for a minute or two (I also leave the sheets in the containers just to be safe). It works extremely well, and I always have dryer sheets and Static Guard on hand which is an added bonus 😄. It doesn't usually affect the shine but if it does, I just wipe the placed drills with a baby wipe and voila, 👌🏻.
This was the first time I watched a wip and chat while doing my own wip, and I must say I enjoyed it! I am working on a snack size…Pink Daisy Dragonfly from DAC which also has some 💎 in it!

Im working on Voyager in square diamonds. I finished my Drills and Chills one so Im trying to determine if Im going to do winter or Christmas next. The winter one I would need to start soon if I want to finish it by holidays. Its large. Anyway, I tried static guard and just sprayed it lightly and made a huge mess. EPIC FAIL! LOL I immediately got out my dryer sheet. I never thought of the qtips. I always pull the pink numerical number off my DAC lables. I just hold it and pop it off with my thumb nail. It comes right off and theres a nice clean edge. I dont like when the labels stick up either so I tear it off when kitting up.💙💙📘
I really enjoyed watching you “kit up.” I’m very curious, probably the eternal question, what do you do with the leftover drills after you’ve finished that project? Do you take them out of those little boxes and put them in something else? Because I assume you’ll want to use those boxes on your next project. Surely you wouldn’t buy a million boxes… help me understand! Loved this though! I just use tiny ziplock bags and I only dump them into each bag as I need them while I’m doing the project. 💙🦋🐟💎
Hey Katie.... not sure if you find time to read these comments... something harmless to add to support your anxiety and depression therapy... is daily breathwork that includes alternare nostril breathing and daily meditations that includes yoga nidra, body scans, any guided meditations. I totally understand how you feel with the grocery prices. Im 16 and i live alone in norway. Prices have been going up a lot here too. I get money each month from the government to pay rent and groceries. It used to be a good amount, but ever since the prices went up. I wish the pay would go up too. I have been struggling to buy groceries with only the support cash. My parents are struggling as well at home. And they send me some bucks when im really in need. But its not fun at all with the prices
Also, I’ve heard people put washi on the containers and the sticker stays better but also removes easy when done. I haven’t tried that yet. I usually put them on the right, then the serial number is on the curved part so I may start cutting those off.

The only method I’ve used for static is the freezer method. I found that it works really well and was economically and environmentally friendly. I just put the diamonds in their bags in the freezer for a little while. It doesn’t have to be very long. Just an FYI for anyone who hasn’t tried it because I have noticed now that winter is here static is back!
Worked on Midnight Spell while listening. I went to see the Taylor Swift movie with my SiL on Friday and it was great. We did it while the kids were in school and my husband took care of our kiddos. It was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy your new kit! 👗
My daughter is now 24. She has diagnosis of ASD ADHD DCD SPD and onset sleep disorder so I know the looks! I ended up saying to her rather loudly “ooh I need to order your medications tomorrow” or something along those lines and the looks turned sheepish 😂 We went to the pictures too last weekend. My daughter wanted to watch Five Nights at Freddie’s which isn’t her usual type of movie but she’s watched people play the games for years. I surprisingly enjoyed it! And my daughter wants a sequel! 😂 💎🩵💙🩵💎
Drills and Chills is my first event. I started this hobby in June. I’m a little melancholy that it’s ending! Wasn’t expecting that. LOL So now I’m trying to figure out what to do for Jingle Drills. Shorter event so I need to be honest what I can finish in that amount of time. I’m an empty nester and envy your time with kids. Even through the stress I can tell you are enjoying the moment. 👖🧢👕🌬️🌧️

Hi I also have many of the Elizabeth ward containers. How do you keep them so clean? When I scrape off old sticker there is always residue left. Thanks for your time.
I sometimes leave the residue there 😅 Sometimes I just scrape it off with a fingernail or the flat end of tweezers, or dip a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and try to wipe it off that way.
I didn’t know about Drills and Chills until yesterday. I’m very new to the Diamond painting craft and community (love your channel by the way!). I was wondering if I could still enter for drills and chills. I happened to have started Fearless Familiar from Diamond art Club. Problem is, I’m almost halfway through and don’t have a before picture of it not yet started. Could I still count it? Totally understandable if not! Chances are I won’t finish before tomorrow anyway but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask!

I really enjoyed watching you “kit up.” I’m very curious, probably the eternal question, what do you do with the leftover drills after you’ve finished that project? Do you take them out of those little boxes and put them in something else? Because I assume you’ll want to use those boxes on your next project. Surely you wouldn’t buy a million boxes… help me understand! Loved this though! I just use tiny ziplock bags and I only dump them into each bag as I need them while I’m doing the project. 💙🦋🐟💎

I totally understand how you feel with the grocery prices. Im 16 and i live alone in norway. Prices have been going up a lot here too. I get money each month from the government to pay rent and groceries. It used to be a good amount, but ever since the prices went up. I wish the pay would go up too. I have been struggling to buy groceries with only the support cash. My parents are struggling as well at home. And they send me some bucks when im really in need. But its not fun at all with the prices
Also, I’ve heard people put washi on the containers and the sticker stays better but also removes easy when done. I haven’t tried that yet. I usually put them on the right, then the serial number is on the curved part so I may start cutting those off.

The only method I’ve used for static is the freezer method. I found that it works really well and was economically and environmentally friendly. I just put the diamonds in their bags in the freezer for a little while. It doesn’t have to be very long. Just an FYI for anyone who hasn’t tried it because I have noticed now that winter is here static is back!

Worked on Midnight Spell while listening. I went to see the Taylor Swift movie with my SiL on Friday and it was great. We did it while the kids were in school and my husband took care of our kiddos. It was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy your new kit! 👗

My daughter is now 24. She has diagnosis of ASD ADHD DCD SPD and onset sleep disorder so I know the looks! I ended up saying to her rather loudly “ooh I need to order your medications tomorrow” or something along those lines and the looks turned sheepish 😂 We went to the pictures too last weekend. My daughter wanted to watch Five Nights at Freddie’s which isn’t her usual type of movie but she’s watched people play the games for years. I surprisingly enjoyed it! And my daughter wants a sequel! 😂

Drills and Chills is my first event. I started this hobby in June. I’m a little melancholy that it’s ending! Wasn’t expecting that. LOL So now I’m trying to figure out what to do for Jingle Drills. Shorter event so I need to be honest what I can finish in that amount of time. I’m an empty nester and envy your time with kids. Even through the stress I can tell you are enjoying the moment. 👖🧢👕🌬️🌧️

Hi I also have many of the Elizabeth ward containers. How do you keep them so clean? When I scrape off old sticker there is always residue left. Thanks for your time.
I sometimes leave the residue there 😅 Sometimes I just scrape it off with a fingernail or the flat end of tweezers, or dip a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and try to wipe it off that way.
I didn’t know about Drills and Chills until yesterday. I’m very new to the Diamond painting craft and community (love your channel by the way!). I was wondering if I could still enter for drills and chills. I happened to have started Fearless Familiar from Diamond art Club. Problem is, I’m almost halfway through and don’t have a before picture of it not yet started. Could I still count it? Totally understandable if not! Chances are I won’t finish before tomorrow anyway but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask!

Anytime you have plastic rubbing against plastic, you will get some level of static.

Sometimes! But in this case, I fit them all into one tray and just have a couple of colors that I’ll refill from the bags as I go.
My biggest issue is deciding if I want to get the 45 piece set along with the 82 piece set on Amazon. It’s in been in my cart for half the day.
