Can't wait to see full review of these machines.

does the machine ever move around on the wheels when changing tires? How are you liking the machine? I am ready to pull the trigger on the 830, same as this i think but has the dual arms. I plan to drive to the USA border to pick it up as they wont ship to Canada lol. DO you think i could slide the crate up a ramp door to a cargo trailer? lol I am unsure if a forklift can reach that far to get it in my trailer past the ramp.

The casters I purchased lock. I just lock the wheels when using the changer, and go to town. The machine does not move.
Love the machines. Had a small issue with the regulator on changer, but the company replaced it. Balancer is very consistent. Very satisfied.
If you do a lot of low profile tires, the additional arms will make the job easier.
Could you slide the crates up a ramp? Alone, I know I couldn't. You could perhaps winch it up? Or position a few dollies underneath the crate to reduce the friction. A flat deck or open back trailer would be ideal. Ask for the weight of each crate and decide what's best for you.
      No regrets!

Great video, I love how you improvise. Definitely some tips I will keep in my back pocket in case I happen to get one of these machines myself.

Thanks, it’s too far of a drive, need in enclosed trailer for security imo. Spending a couple nights. They look easy to slide lol. My plan was to bring my dolly which can lay on its back and has 4 wheels, also have snowmobile dollies. Winch it in if I need. Could roll it on pipes too lol. I had many ideas going on in my head. Hopefully Mike’s parcel warehouse just has extra long forks. I know some warehouses have them. I think the chances are slim though! Thanks for the reply, appreciate it

Just a thought, maybe bring a long 4x4. That way, they can drop the pallet as far in the trailer as possible, then position the 4x4 against the base of the pallet and forklift fork plate, and have the operator push the pallet forward. Used this technique many times.

Good idea! I have contacted the place I would pick it up and see what their thoughts are! They receive parcels for Canadians as a business and have amazing reviews. I’m sure they’ve dealt with this in the past. We will see.

In our area if you order tires online the local guys charge 125 to 150 per tire to mount and balance if you can find one.

@@kurtsellner7374 Those are some steep prices, but they also have all that overhead. Just rebalanced a friend’s set of tires today. Worth every penny.

What is the distance from the face of the hub plate to the machine? I’m trying to determine if I can use this for my drag race rims which are 12” wide and with the tire mounted, 13” of total width. Thanks

It’s the time you save by changing the tires at your own place on your schedule - the machine pays for itself the second time you use it; the first time, figuring out the quarks of the machine don’t count 😂

Yea around here the tire shops all have a monopoly and they way overcharge. Example, set of tires name brand of amazon was 325 shipped to my door. Then went to have them installed it was 210. Well i have a truck, two trailers, wifes car and four adult children of which we will all need tires in the next 2 years. These machines in that labor savings for me will pay off quick. Additionally the sxs and other stuff that needs tires now and again. So your logic is sound to me.

@@timwaddell9450 Similar boat here. Had a nail in the sidewall on my dump trailer a week back. 10 ply trailer tire. Purchased a new tire on Amazon for 90 bucks, here the next day. Tire shop would have likely cornered me into purchasing a high end “name brand” tire for 200 bucks. There alone, 100 bucks saved, and probably another 50 bucks in time and aggravation.

I feel your pain. Bought a used Snap On tire machine and found a balancer also . Have about $1500 invested in both and they work great. Grew tired of tire shops. It was was about $40-45 per tire.

The only difference between men and boys are the price of their toys but I agree I would much rather do my own tires then bring it to a place were they are trying to find extra work if you know what I mean.
