My asian friend just loved it and said it tastes just like the malaysian cookies he used to eat when a kid...
so soft and such a smooth texture. just loved it....Thank you for the recipe.....
There was a request if you could add some asian sweets which are vegetarian versions, would be really nice (without eggs)

You are welcome, Nageswary Vanham ! :)
Hello! What is the difference between roasting the peanuts in the oven and under the stove? Does it affect the fragrance of the peanuts? I tried making peanut cookies once but it just has this one dimensional peanut flavour without fragrance. Any recommendations? Hope to receive a reply soon! Thanks!!
Can i substitute peanut with almond? Have you ever make this cookie with almond? Will it have the same melt-in-the-mouth texture?
Saya sangat suka cookis ni. Tapi apa perbedaan memakai tepung beras dengan tepung gandum ? Mohon dijawab ya . Karena saya sangat ingin mencoba resipi ini. Terima kasih dulu ya
MANTAP!

Can i use all purpose flour instead of rice flour? If yes, how many grams of all purpose flour should i use?
Can I take melted butter instead of oil
what can be used other than egg for wash as i am a vegetarian and cant use egg. have been struggling to find a substitute for egg wash here in India with not much success...
Milk would work if you can use milk. Otherwise, just leave it without a glaze. It will still taste the same but will not have the shine on the top. It will have a paler color.
👍👍👍
Can I use melted butter to replace the vegetable oil?
Hi vegetable or peanut oil goes well..using melted butter has different taste
No baking soda required?
can i use plain F
can I use butter into it? for some flvr?
+Arafah Miti Peanuts have quite a bit of oil in them and I would not add any more butter.
Can I use low protein flour?
+neoh lay kean Yes, you can use all-purpose or low protein flour.
should I use
rice flour or plain flour
+dollysee888 I used rice flour for that melt-in-the-mouth texture. You can use all-purpose flour but the taste and texture will be different.
Thank you. If i use 500 gms of peanuts, how much rice flour should I use?
+dollysee888 You can use 250g rice flour.
Why egg wash not by using egg yolk? Any special reason?
Vivian Low , using the whole egg would give a shiny golden brown surface. The egg white alone will give a paler surface as can be seen in my cookies. I guess it is a matter of preference. Please use whatever wash you prefer.
