My German granny used to live in Bevergern/Hörstel, Westfalen. We used to visit her in my childhood and in my teens. It's a nice place near the canal to visit and we used to eat delicious varieties of fresh breads and cakes from Pelster's bakery. Bevergern is surrounded by nice woodlands and countryside places to go for nature walks. There is also Torfmorsee nearby. I would recommend visiting this lovely place. 🙂
