We all shall raise our wands in silence as the actor who played Hagrid has passed away at 72 years old today on oct 14th 2022, and this ride is now a real tribute to him, he was the one who told harry potter that he was a wizard, we will always remember him no matter how old we are.
You can never really forget a loss but you can always accept it as much as it is hard

This is a good example of how the onboard audio in a coaster makes the experience much more complete. Hope velocicoaster includes it too.
Hard to tell over all the screaming. Much more intense ride. Supposedly there's music but I don't remember it

The greatest ride Universal has ever made! You really feel like your in the forbidden forest with Hagrid (Especially at night) The best part is that the ride features no screens at all, and they just did an amazing job on this ride! Great for Harry Potter fans, and Universal Guests!

This was a great ride! The down side is when I went we had to wait for the line to die down because we would have had to wait 170 minutes!!!
When you coast up the hill to a crawl and then roll backward, the speed at which that switch track flips is phenomenal. I was thinking about it the first time we rode it.
Imagine a malfunction during the switch 😳
A malfunction during that part wouldn’t be that bad. Fluffy is a launch, but also a break section. So if the track didn’t switch back for the train in front of you, you’d just get stopped on fluffy and then when the train rolled back, they would get stopped on the launch by the pixies and car.
The plants are looking amazing! So much better looking than a year ago

The immersion and landscaping on this ride is 10/10. You cannot tell you are even in a theme park

We will be there in Sept and I am so pumped they opened a single riders line for this! Since we aren't locals and only go once a year I don't want to spend hours in a long line so I'm hoping I will get to ride it this trip!

lol i know your pain. id just bought a new pair of sunglasses when i visited in September and wore them for maybe 5 minutes that morning, letting them hang on my shirt and forgetting about them. Flew right off at the first corner never to be seen again!
Oh no! Thats probably why why have signs and people all over telling you to put *everything* into lockers now. The ride is intense!
I had to have my phone on me to get back into my locker and I had one of the sea wags and thank god they told me to tuck it into my shirt.

I'm Japanese. I rode this in February last year and it was a lot of fun! The best! However, I was very sad because I couldn't go to COVID19 this year. I hope every day that I can ride again. So I want to ride again when the COVID19 is settled! I love America!

I have a huge fear of rides, and when I went to Florida, I did this, and I screamed the whole way with my eyes shut, but watching this back I wish I could go do it again
The best, most innovative, most immersive roller coaster I've ever seen! Well, well worth the wait! Last time I was there I was lucky enough to have the front row all to myself. I've never felt more immersed! Really felt like I was flying through to sky on a magical motorcycle.
I had first row too to myself last weekend and it was at night, best ride ever.
You can see the 2 drop tracks. Amazing!
@Action Toy Movies there's 2 you can see the switchtrack when entering the cave. I've been on it a dozen times. There's also a video explaining it in detail.

This is my favorite ride at Orlando and on our last day my mom and I waited three hours to ride it for the last time and it got delayed twice. When it was finally fixed it was then our turn and right at like 1:13 the ride stopped and some employees had to come evac us off. It wasn’t my first roller coaster experience like that :’)

My family and I rode this August 2019. The ride had been down most of the day, but when it opened in the early evening, we decided to get in line. It was quite a long wait, and while it had been broad daylight when we got into the line, as I said, it was quite a long wait. We were finally on the ride, and when the ride got started, we realized it was now dark. As we came around a corner and the tracks went up, there was not only a full moon, but the fireworks show was going on, too. One of the best ride experiences EVER!!! It really was spectacular!

When SixFlags installs a coaster: yeah the first thing we need to do is cut down all the trees and have absolutely no thematic elements along the track to match the ride.
You do realize that they planted all these fully grown trees for the theme. Universal Studios has a lot of trees that were FULL grown trees transplanted to the park for their themes. I watched the whole Adventure Island be built and they gutted the place. Flat and nothing but dirt.
Six Flags sucks ass with the theming, which pisses me off bc I'm a massive DC fan and hate seeing these great characters getting such bland rides

Loved this ride so much! Definitely my favorite, perfect speed, 0:59 my stomach left my body, (keep in mind, I went on velocicoaster and the drop did not make my stomach feel anything, BUT, velocicoaster was a great ride, 100% recommend!)
I went to queue on the ride my only chance to go on it and it broke down so I never got to go on it and I live in England 🥺 devastated

Best ride Universal has developed to date! An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish.
i remember when i went to universal july 2021, my friends and i went to go get in line for this ride and the staff told us it was virtual wait only. For three days, we tried putting a spot in for the “virtual line” and everytime it would say it wouldn’t work because the ride was shut down or it just straight up wouldn’t accept us. Every time we went to go ask for help the workers wouldn’t do anything about it.
My favorite ride right now by far. We'll see how Velocicoaster compares to it though!

Thank You Posting This and I Remember Going on September 2019 I didn't had wait 3 hours ride this only 15 min wait once I got on my ride know as motorbike pulling my ride restraint my left sneaker fell off as I put back on my foot a Hagrid helper forced me to be with another Hagrid helper to see if I could fit on the ride not sure why me once I got on test seat Hagrid helper was checking I fit but they think I was too fat I explain I'll try sidecar still same story then force me to leave and I cried heavy in tears treating a disabled man not go on this ride 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Would you recommend this ride to someone who is relatively sensitive to roller coasters because I have never really ridden big ones like this before but I have ridden smaller coasters and I really don’t like the feeling in my stomach. Does this ride go fast enough so you don’t feel it too much?
