Returning to confession was the single most redemptive act for me and totally unexpected. Every one I make, now, with different priests in different churches is a revelation of God’s grace toward me the wretched sinner.
I am taking RCI classes now. I am being told that upon my baptism, all my sins will automatically be washed away and when I go to my first confession post baptism, I will start with sins from that time forward.
Baptism will wash away original sin done by Adan and Eve. Confessions done only when you commit actual sins. But If you are already old and converted to catholicism through baptism, both original and actual sins will be wiped out. That day after baptism when you die you will Immediately go to heaven.
Everytime I hear of a brethern Jew converting to the Catholic faith, my heart rejoices and my eyes see a broad and beautiful smile above the skyline, that of sweet and holy Mary. The earthly daughter of Ann and Joachim is now glorified in heaven by her Son, as she glorified the Son of God on this earth by her Fiat. She brought Him into this world, and He assumed her into heaven. Because of the mystery of the Incarnation, the Mother and the Son are inseparable for eternity. Same goes for Jesus Christ and His earthly family, the Jewish people. He came for them in the first place and not until He will have won every heart will He return.
