1,000 comments and i'll start putting up videos of Hikaru playing banned accounts.
are you serious?
Why are all the comments hidden?
Already waiting
Let’s gooo
the "if you don't like your position, why play this way?" killed me xDDDD
I'm very impressed that his chat has never had a bad chess position before, Hikaru will have to work hard to be as good as his twitch subscribers
That commenter would easily beat Hikaru.
his coach was banned for a reason.
during this tilted tuesday, he had almost 100% accuracy in all of his matches, but once he went vs hikaru, he all of a sudden dropped down to 52% accuracy. i guess he got scared hikaru was going to catch him so he turned off his engine, when in reality he just exposed himself as a cheat for doing so 😂.
Idk I got funny feelings when Hikaru was saying whys he taking so long to think, sounds a lot like the quote the coach was saying. Maybe I'm just seeing ghosts
It was his coach over 4 years ago.
we know who Hans learned his behavior from
Are you serious?
Stockfish gets scared when it knows it's up against Hikaru.
"Oh great I have to play Dlugy." That's all you can say or he will sue you.
This was a tournament when Dlugy was banned by the end. He had above a 99% accuracy in every game except when he played Hikaru it was around 58% 😂 he knows cheating against nak is a straight to jail card so he took the L hoping to skate by the rest of the competition but was caught anyway. Great game. Hilarious that he has mentored Hans.
Lol mentioned him in how to cheat yeah
Proof that Dlugi was banned after this? Also what tournament is this?
He's really not a smart guy if he thinks he can escape the website's algorithm if he cheats in majority of his games
@@ciriousjoker title Tuesday you can see Benjamin boks last video for more information
Something of a flawed strategy it seems!
Amazing how Hikaru carries on a captivating conversation about Fortnite and blunders, then still crushes the opponent. GG
"I'm treating this as a must-win game" *vibing to music*
2:45 Hikaru: He's really thinking for a long time here.
Everyone in 2022 looks at each other knowingly.
@Abu Kam clearly you don’t know how cheating works… it takes time to cheat… you have to put in every move as it happens into another chessboard engine and then wait while the engine calculates all the possible lines and tells you what move to play. So you constantly have to go back and forth from chess board to engine. It take at least 5 seconds every move to cheat.
@@extremerealming4975 not necessarily there are many third party programs that can give you the best moves even when playing in bullet time format.
@@extremerealming4975 Can very easily write a browser extention that'll copy all moves realtime for you so you dont have to manually plug them in. That way the only time you need is the time it takes to perform the calculations. And if you're playing for money its very cheap and easy to setup a powerful server at home or in the cloud that will do the calculations very quickly and return the result to your browser extention. The only time limit is how powerful the machine is that's calculating moves.
@@anthonybyrne2262 it already exists
@@dert159 yeah but if you play the best move you will be banned, so you need an engine that e.g. gives you the top 5 moves and you can chose 1 of them, or maybe you aren't sure about a certain move if it blunders and want to check that even if it's not a top 5 move, so yeah it's not as easy as getting the best move.
So, Dlugy and Niemann have formed the perfect collaboration.
In comes Anakin Niemann and says, I need him! and sues the chief chess officer for 100 million dollars.
so basically, Hans got banned a couple of times in online.. his coach is also a known cheater... I'm actually surprised Hans is still allowed in online tournaments to be honest..
yes that is the current hate campaign and narrative being pushed right now. Go spread the word sheep. Do what your masters command and make you not think.
@@cactusmalone i think the loophole is those online tourneys are not regulated by fide... but he's already suspicious to begin with.... and Han's protective fans probably only think Hans is being bullied but there is enough reason to be suspicious atleast
@@cactusmalone thats a distraction from the magnus team to cope w the OTB L
@@johnappleseed8146 Could be but Magnus has lost before and never acted this way. Why be so salty now and with only Hans all of the sudden… it’s extremely unlikely that it’s nothing…
Understand that viewpoint but just from a humanistic perspective he's spent so much of his life on chess I really find it inconceivable to think he would betray his own self in that way..I really hope not, and find it very difficult to believe so..he's been a virtual recluse for years..all the sacrifices for what? It just doesn't make any sense when one considers the nature of the human spirit..
Hikaru was more sarcastic two years ago.
they werent trying to sue his ass into oblivion back then i suppose
@@igormorais4192 why are people trying to sue Hikaru?
@@Zero-rp4xr Nobody’s trying to sue Hikaru atm, though he has been threatened with legal action by St Louis Chess Club for using their footage.
@@Zero-rp4xr Maybe cause he's a d***. That's just a guess though.
@@ShawFujikawa How do you know this?
You need gigantic balls to tell this guy he needs to develop.
Or you just need to sit behind you screen on twitch chat.
or a sense of humor
The chat speaks for itself.
So a kid who admitted to cheating but claims it's all in the past has a known cheater as his current coach? And people really believe he's on the straight and narrow now? It doesn't take a ten time world #1 to figure this one out.
Exactly
not his current coach at all
@@howardlam6181it was during the tourney
"Oh great, I have to play Dlugy." If this was said today Hans fans would say he's insinuating Dlugy's a cheater.
Yes, Hikaru is destroying Dlugy's career by this direct accusations here, without having hard evidence, that is, he never held personally his buttplugs ever in his hands. Hikaru should be ashamed!
This season of chess drama is finally taking off. Can't wait for the finale 😦
"He (Maxime) is doing a pretty good job"
- Magnus Carlsen
Maxim not Maxime
Vachier lagrave ?
Hikaru not developing his pieces and not getting his king out of the centre of the board....
"Chat, there are exceptions chat".
With his pawns so far out, his pieces kinda developed themselves on the back ranks.
Philidor would be proud at 2:27 with all the pawns developed!! :)
Hikaru has such a cautious playingstyle, with slow development, making it hard to get good tactical opportunities against him. Pretty much the "advocated" playingstyle against someone you believe is cheating. By just making a lot of moves with low risk, cheaters run out of time by checking for moves every time. Then you can beat them when they no longer have time to check the engine and have to play for themselves. It's the same in his games against Hans online. Hikaru pretty much is able to farm someone who needs to cheat in fast time-controls. As can any high level GM, and even some IMs.
I've a feeling that Hikaru knows exactly how to play against someone he thinks is using engine assistance. Levy is also very good at it too.
Ah yes the I'm playing against a robot declined ... gambit
@@GMHikaruClips Noob question perhaps, but was there something about the game itself that suggested assistance? At what point in the game was cheating suspected? Or was it a reputation thing? 🙏🙏
@@GMHikaruClips I think Levy said Hikaru taught him how to play against cheaters
You guys are underestimating how little they cheat if they do.
Super GMs like Hans or Dlugy cheat once or twice a game if anything (and if they actually cheat)
Which doesn’t make it less bad. But to think they einginge check every move is just flat out stupid 1200 elo thinking.
Hikaru is worst nightmare for cheaters
You want to use stockfish? Fine, I will draw you if you are super quick, or beat you if I can flag you.
"im treating this as a must win game" edm drop incoming
He seems to be a tricky opponent!
Yeah stockfish is tricky!

Me : why not take that piece ????????
Hikaru : if takes it is checkmate chat
Me : embarrassed
This is probably hikaru at his sexiest
This drama is the best thing to happen to chess
Now every pkayer is suspected to be a cheater, is that good?
@@guspartschmuth592 Yes
@@guspartschmuth592 For spectators... as long as there is resolution though. If the scandal is massive and never really resolves, it'll hurt the game like steroids in baseball.
I’d still say that title belongs to The Queen’s Gambit, but you’re not totally wrong either.
yeah, the normies definitely needed a bit of juicy gos to keep them interested.
This is a neat concept
How can he play in a tournament and be allowed to read comments which make suggestions during the game?
Because the chat is full of morons that dont have 1% the talent of Hikaru (for example the part when Hikaru responds at the suggestion of taking the bishop lol). Taking suggestions from chat is also one of the dumbest ways to ever cheat as chat messages get saved and recorded in VODs and logs. You could just see if someone is suggesting the moves and and see if hikaru plays them....
Hiki is the original cheater
Because it was permitted under the rules of the event. Duh.
this clip is hilarious. Thanks chat thanks for knowing chess better than Hikaru.
From the gams I've seen Hans and his trainer play, they both go for the odd bishop e7 move

Wait so hikaru beat stockfish?
Stockfish is useless if you’re low on time
No, Dlugy didn’t use the engine in this match. He only used it in the other games.
@@nafinbong9222 How do you know?
@@jason.arthur.taylor His accuracy in other games was 99% (he won, obviously), against Naka 58%. And although Naka is good, he can't beat stockfish.
@@caylus3395 wow 99%, sounds so fishy.
Funny thing is Dlugy has "near perfect" accuracy, but somehow when he plays this match against Hikaru, his accuracy is 52%. Pretty obvious something got turned off as he was being streamed live. Like Hikaru said in previous streams, cheaters tend to attract each other. We already know who he coaches.
He’s a 2600 rated player regardless
You're lying it's not 52
Dlugy has not had “near perfect” accuracy. Also we don’t know who he coaches. We only know that Magnus called him Hans’ “mentor” which could easily be a sarcastic take on what he think about Hans. No idea whether he has cheated or not, but this comment is just BS and not helpful.
@@colinbrash Dlugy is a proven cheater. about 5 months ago, Hans admitted Dlugy being his mentor on The Perpetual Chess Podcast, check it.
@@QA-wt5gx well, not 52% but 56%, drop down from 98-99% every games, then the next game he lose with 99.3% accuracy because he got banned mid game during the tournament
so dlugy was banned then unbanned because he had cheated only at age 45 or something?
Chess right now is pretty much at the "humans vs cyborgs" chapter....
I like the content. Keep it coming.
He said “strange move” haha
just like when they go vs hans
unranked chat backseating gm as always lmao
Dlugy also tried to embezzle 9 million dollars 😆
In Soviet Russia, money embezzles you!
Omg! I had no idea. This chess drama is so ridiculous.
Hikaru offers play-by-play AND color commentary.
Do it, put up all the dirty stuff
nice! he was not "in the mood", probably...
Have you ever heard the tale of Darth Dlugy the Wise?
Reminds me of:
"If the rule you followed led you to this, of what use was the rule"
I would've got mated on that bishop move 😳
Very veiled comment by Magnus regarding Dlugy
dlugy cheats
? 🤔 how is it "veil" if it's true?
I think you mean thinly veiled
What did you find vile about it.magnus was praising hans and his mentor for great results.
*Very thinly veiled - "very veiled" is the opposite of very thinly veiled. :)

boom give me Hikaru vs banned accounts ASAP!!!
Im sure there were some trolls but right on cue, the 400 elo chat telling him that he didnt take a free bishop jfl
Ok Igor where did you get the Dlugy brain...
"The jar said "abby" something..."
"Oh great, I have to play Delugy" LOL
loll the last 5 seconds of the video are the best part
Maybe Hikaru used an engine here
What a privilege to witness such a genius
Maxim is truly the greatest chess coach one may dream to get at the rate of 250$ per hour.
Hikaru the online goat.
Hikaru not insinuating anything per usual
Oh, no. Not The Loogie.

I love it when the chat is suggesting moves to *checks notes* Hikaru Nakamura??
Yes tell me all about the move that you saw that you think the top 5 in the world super GM missed
That was the title tuesday that Dlugy got "disconnected"?
yup, in a match where he was winning and had a lot of time on the clock he got banhammered
Classic Hikaru
Great clip
From 99% accuracy to 56% just against Hikaru and then back to 99%...
then his last match ended abruptly in a game where he was winning because he got banned
Wow
If you’re going to cheat, getting a known cheater as your coach is one of the stupidest things you can do.
Even hikaru is scared of cheaters
Hikaru my fav chess player
does dlugy remember calculated variations?
I drew with Dlugy with the black pieces. Of course it was in 1980 and he was like 12 years old.
It is not about he was 12. I is about there was no chees engine by then.
I wonder how many of those opening moves were engine moves to disrupt Hikaru's pieces in such a way. The cheating clown probably turned off the engine somewhere in the middle game to avoid suspicion and that's when he got clobbered.
Magnus is to be applauded for his actions. I'm shocked that chess isn't tougher on cheating and he's right to highlight those with a history of it. Until Magnus did what he's done, most of the public had no idea about Niemann's record, and until the interview he gave a couple of days ago I bet they also didn't know about his associations with Dlugy or the latter's record. Those who say that Niemann hasn't been proven to have cheated in the Sinquefield Cup are kind of missing the point. The question is why he was allowed to be there in the first place. He may have been young last time he was caught, but it's not exactly ancient history, is it?
If you say he was young when he was caught, I say he is STILL young. Why am I supposed to expect a cheater at 13 and 16 to now, at the young age of 19 with a still developing brain, be smart enough to not cheat and also skilled enough to beat #1 legit. People talk about hans like he is so much older and wiser now. Not really. He's still just a stupid kid.
Btw guys Dlugy was involved in an incident where his opponent was found to have an electrical device in his shoe. Hint?
He CAUGHT the guy who had the electrical device in his shoe, which shows that he in an expert in cheating DETECTION, which means he knows a ton about cheating. Draw whatever conclusion you like from that statement.
He then said if he had this device himself, he would destroy with it because he is so big brained
Take it to a thousand already you guys.
It's actually crazy how early in the game Hikaru got suspicous. It only took one weird move and he immediately knew.
It's crazy how dlugy wasn't cheating in this game. It's like you don't know what you're talking about. His accuracy was trash he was cheating against everyone but hikaru
And once again, the experienced player defeats the cheater. Love it.
Are you saying cheating doesn't work?
Hold up
where can I find info about his cheating? FIDE site says he's active.
He didn't use engine against hikaru because hikaru is influential and draw attention on him.
@@rajviryadav1227 you can analyse every single online game years after it was played and evaluate accuracy etc. So it frankly doesn't make sense to say he didn't cheat against Hikaru because Hikaru would draw attention on him. Every single game out there, where someone is cheating, can draw attention years later.
Hicky stronger than an engine in blitz
wow you don’t waste any time do you xD
dubious opening
Cheaters can't beat Hikaru. They can get only 2 or 3 best moves from the engine not to get caught, but that's far too little and Naka takes them down soon after.
Here's 1 in 1000.
Gad! You're so deym good!
