In the mawlood they speak about prophet muhammed may peace be upon him and its similar to a Friday prayer with a lecture about prophet muhammed may peace be upon him, so is it still wrong from this point of view?
Should one teach the Seerah during the days in which the people of innovation celebrate "Mawlid"? This is a question I (keys to knowledge owner) asked my Shaykh Muhammad b. Zayd al-Madkhali حفظه الله last year around this time. In summary, I expressed my desire to teach the Shamail (physical characteristics of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) during this season, as there are more people interested in learning about our beloved Prophet. I asked him if this was permissible and would it be a form of celebrating the "Mawlid"? The Shaykh حفظه الله responded: "I see that this timing is not appropriate, as they might think you are with the people in their innovative celebrations. You should remind them of the dangers of innovations, including the innovation of Mawlid. There will be days when you can explain to them what you mentioned. May Allah grant you success."
But what abt when Allah in suratul ahzab said Innallaaha wa mAlaikatahoo yusalloona alan Nabi ya ayuhal latheena amanoo salloo alayhii wa sallimoo tasleeman ppl aren’t celebrating the birth of rasool saw but are sending blessings just like it says in the kitab/quran
@@517SaiGaming is that verse specific to that day only? Did not Our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) say that we should send a lot of salawat on Friday? Or should we reject what he said and do something he never did which would be people sending salawat on the prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) only in mawlid and only for day, doesn't make sense, you want to miss 10 good deeds? You can't even say salawat for once?
In this day and age with what’s happening to the Muslim Ummah. Gen Z should consider producing content to unite us all as there are plenty of people outside of the Ummah already dividing us. Matters like this service no benefit of discussion other than cause more divisions and differences.
Al-‘Irbad ibn Sariyah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed with us one day. Then, he faced us and delivered an eloquent sermon that brought tears to our eyes and hearts were shaken by it. It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, it is as if this is a farewell address. What do you instruct for us?” The Prophet said, “I advise you to fear Allah, listen, and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave is put in charge of you. Whoever lives after me will see many conflicts. You must adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the righteous, guided successors. Hold firmly to it as if biting with your molar teeth. Beware of newly invented matters in religion, for every new matter is an innovation and, every innovation is misguidance.” Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4607 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Arna’ut
@@suhaylkhan8890 If you really think we can unite the whole ummah then you are wrong, the salaf said that if someone is alone that Is upon haqq (truth) then he should stay upon it, if you live in a country or city that insults the mothers of believers, you think you can unite all of them? Go study under a scholar who is upon the sunnah, if you don't know any that a lot of people rely on then listen to shaykh ibn baz and shaykh ibn uthaymeen and shaykh albani, division will always exist, read the verses in quran on what Allah said on if he willed for us to be one ummah, allah answered this himself, such matters must be answered because that's how islam works, you can't just leave falsehood to spread, especially if some people claim that they do something while it opposes islam, those who celebrate mawlid they say they love the Prophet (ﷺ), but if they do, then was this reward and faith unnoticed to the salaf, especially the sahaba, do we love him more than the sahaba, the Prophet ﷺ said above to stick to the sunnah and the sunnah of the khualaf ar-rashidin, like Abu Bakr And Umar And Uthman and Ali (رضي الله عنهم), no one celebrated his birthday, and so the salaf, this means we should avoid such thing, because the shias introduced this celebration first to copy the Christians like in 25 December, I hope this benefits you.
