I love forgeworld tanks! Their look, their aesthetics, they really fit the death korps theme imo. I'm far from being a competitive player, but I have a Malcador annihilator in my 1k points army. My dream 2k points army would be three 20 DKK squads (with all the bells and whistles bc special weapons are cool), two lead by one DK Marshall each, the third one being lead by a platoon command squad and lord solar leontus, two regimental enginseer to follow and bless my Malcador annihilator and one Macharius vanquisher, two recon sentinels to help my artillery, that is to say two earthshaker cannon and one Praetor, and finally a little cyclops demolition vehicle because he's cute and fills perfectly the 25 points gap. I have no idea on how that list would do on the tabletop, but I count on lucky artillery strike and the toughness of my tanks to compensate for my errors 😅
@@Wastelandwarrior0311 Ah okay. I was thinking about running 2x10 with commanders to block in my opponent while artillery and maybe a big knight like a Castellan chill in the back and blast away. Maybe some catachans and scout sentinels to jump on objectives early. I was just curious how useful you found them since they don't seem as killy Rough Riders.
@@ghost9pm407 I have found they are a novelty glass cannon, they are great for monster hunting and tank cracking but clearing out swarms is a little hit and miss. With only S4 and AP-1 they don't really have a lot of hitting power. They are really just a saturation unit dumping tons of attacks in hopes of causing bad saves simply by volume of rolls and probability. A 14W model doesn't really last when faced with 50 attacks from a single unit. Fix bayonets is a must issue order for them though and that makes the commissar a cheaper means of getting that out. All of this depends on how well the dice are rolling too, so grain of salt and all that.
Would love to see how the normal Malcadors do. Personally I think triple autocannons are better. Bouncing lascannons on a 3+ is pretty damn impressive.
At this point, I'd also love to see Mordian take an absolute sweat list and go full try hard just to see how different it plays from the fun/medium competitive lists hes been bringing!

Trying to find Mordians video about dealing with difficult players. Wanted to relistin to it as I came across one of the archetypes in the wild and failed horribly
cant find these tank models anywhere, im new to warhammer and am drawn very heavily to the style of the krieg army. i see people have giant artillery guns and tanks and all sorts of Krieg style stuff but i cant seem to find any kits. are these all custom ?? if so how do you use them?
The two malcadors are custom printed, the medusa is oop and maybe you can find it on some second hand seller, the malcador infernus should just be on gw as a forgeworld unit. The basilisks are usually sold out on the GW website but you can find them there or other sellers

I built this list for a friendly game, but while making it in the warhammer app, under Leader for the Cadian Command Squad, it says that they can only be attached to Cadian Shock Troops, so Im wondering how you attached them to the catachans?
Sorry to ask this guardsmen but in the 40k app for list building it says that 2 plasma, 2 melta, and 2 grenade launchers is invalid wargear for a 20 man krieg squad. Now is my app needing updated or is there an issue with it.

Krieg have always been my favorite in the guard, seeing people's reactions to 30+ Death Riders is always worth the points. ponies and arty for the win

It depends on the enemy army to be honest, some are better to flank and others are best faced head on. @@ghost9pm407

Is the movement restriction brought in by the basilisk cumulative?? So if a unit is hit by 3 basilisk does it lose 6 inches of movement?

It’s definitely a legal load out per the guard index. So it’s some kind of issue with the app.

Feel No Pain is rolled in addition to the regular save.
