  • Driving up the coast and couldn't resist stopping for another flight over Mount Tibrogargan.
There's 2 mountain climbers at the top, I don't think they spotted me, can you see them?
I should probably find some time to fly around ALL of the mountains in the Glasshouse Ranges.
This was filmed with DJI Inspire X3.
All audio for this was from the built in sound effects on Final Cut Pro. No Ads should appear on this video.

When my parents drove us down us to Brisbane from Caloundra in the 1970s before the new Bruce Highway was built I was always inspired by that mountain. Never having climbed it, I wondered what was up there, what was the view like etc etc. This video brought back those memories and even created a few new ones. Tremendous video, thanks!

There's a kind of Devils Tower feel to this place.

Very nice! Can you do a fly over of Mt Beerwah too? That'd look great I reckon.

+David Whittle Thanks, yes I definitely want to fly Mt Beerwah and Mt Coonowrin next time. Just wish I could get there around sunrise or sunset.

Great footage I am new to this had my Mavic for a couple of months now, have done a small Way point mission myself on the mountain but nothing to compare with yours, a couple of questions if I may, was this a way point mission, also how did you do the fly overs accross the top, did you get the height of the mountain and add 20 meters, I would like to attempt something similar but would have to go above the height limit. Well done.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. This was all done with manual flying, line of sight with the Inspire 1 so it's easier to see than the Mavic. If doing with waypoints in Autopilot or Litchi you'd need to fly the location first to see what altitude you'd set for the waypoints.
