This is an amazing piece of footage. I only wish I was 40 years younger to take my Mavic Air up there. Did you use any filters on the drone? Any suggestions where I could fly from to video the mountain which doesnt involve climbing?
Hi Paul, you could definitely still fly and get some decent shot of the mountain from the bottom. If you can walk to the base i'm sure you'd be able to get some good shots, otherwise I've taken some nice footage just from the start of the walk, near the shelter. I did use some filters, the PolarPro nd16's I believe. Happy flying :)
Thank you for responding 'Dart', especially so quickly'. I suppose the mountain is too high to get footage of from the ground (legal height) but I think what youve done is exacly the sort of footage I would like to get...done some flying around Coffs Harbour and just new to it but love it. Keep getting this awesome video. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks Paul
amazing!
This is beautiful - My Favourite glasshouse mountain.
Thanks mate, it's a good scramble up there :)
Captivating. Music really compliments the footage too. :-)
Bloody Epic!

how many hours was the hike? it looks scary af
Gidday mate, it's about a 3 hour up and down hike. It's a bit scary, you definitely want to be comfortable with heights and with scrambling.
