@@camerontaylor7471 The first thing that strikes me when I see actresses from this era is that most of them or maybe all of them behave highly unnatural, not only on screen, but also in interviews etc., what is not the case for many today's actresses. So it does not surprise me that at least half of them had severe problems with drugs, alcohol and psychological problems (Vivien Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, just to name a few). For example, looking at how Marilyn Monroe behaves in interviews, I see that she never behaves normally, it is always playing a role - very tasteful indeed, but it is definitely not her natural self. @@odettedonahue3393 no Audrey was beautiful inside and out.
No Lizabeth Scott?
Its nice to see Liz at the top for once. It is a toss up between Liz and Vivien, but Liz looked a little more robust and modern, Vivien was just so fine featured, like a little fairy princess.
Nicely done and fun to watch!
That zoom-in close-up of Vivien blows everyone else out of the water.
Except for Grace, Audrey and Elizabeth.
@@littlemissblackdress7587 not really, Audrey has a beauty which we can not only see in her face but in her heart, Liz was beautiful, I don't get the obssession with Grace she looked okay

RITA HAYWORTH IS THE BEST.....THE MOST COMPLETE OF THEM ALL!!! BEAUTY, ACTING, SINGING AND DANCING, NO ONE OF THE OTHER LADIES CAN BEAT THAT.

Vivien Leigh should be number one
Hedy Lamarr was not only drop-dead gorgeous, she was an engineer who is credited with inventing the Frequency-hopping signal which formed the basis of all modern wireless communication devices. Therefore, as a genius, a Jewish women and gorgeous actress, she is in my number one spot! 💗
Thank you for putting the list together. I enjoyed it. Didn't realize how beautiful Gene Tierney was. Also, there was an actress named Claudia, I believe. Stunning.
Cardinale. Ah, Italian actresses!
@@bovnycccoperalover3579 Thanks!
1. Vivien Leigh :-)
They are all equally talented and beautiful in their own ways. But my top 5 choices would be #5 Olivia de Havilland. #4 Marilyn Monroe #3 Audrey Hepburn #2 Vivien Leigh and my # 1 pick is Ingrid Bergman 💕
Olivia De Havilland is by far the most lush and elegant, divine.
Olivia is my favorite actress, but not my choice for most beautiful. Her talent earns her the number one spot for acting for me.
Yes she is
Olivia De Havilland... Let me just put a little "yikes"(bleah 😬) next to her name! She was not a beautiful woman.
...My door neighbors are much more desirable 😂
Olivia was very pretty who don’t think that is really sick

5. Audrey Hepburn
6. Ava Gardner
7. Carole Lombard
8. Myrna Loy
9. Elizabeth Taylor
10. Veronica Lake
11. Marilyn Monroe
12. Ingrid Bergman

vivi I agree with all of those women but I think I would add Lucille Ball and Carole Lombard. Such a shame that she and Jean Harlow died so young.
I forgot Susan Oliver, she was gorgeous!!
Have to say I agree with your list. Might would switch Grace with Bacall though.
