You are the only one on youtube that make pattern making so easy. I no longer need to be a slave to commercial patterns that are so complicated and time consuming. Thank you, thank you, thank you💗
@@pamelamcclam2915 thank you for saying that and not to mention I use all of the same patterns for all of my clients. I’ve been using the same pattern since college and it definitely makes your time go down a lot when you already have the patterns made.
I love all your work I've watched every video you have ever done and always wondered how you use the same pattern for everything...thanks for sharing your the best!!!
Omg you're such a blessing teaching us your mad skills I've always wanted to go to design school so everything I've learn is self taught or from people like you teaching your skills thank you so much I have learn a lot today
GURL!! You are so my muse!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I am a beginner and this week I am going to attempt to draft out my 8 MUST HAVE patters. Again thank you Anita!!!

Thanks sis... I always love your videos😍 But I like to ask what if you don't have a measurement to work with. How do you know what fits a size 6,8,10,14,etc
Anita, Anita, Anita ! Thank you soooooooo much for this tutorial. I am nee to the seeing world, I couldn't even hem a pair of pants.🤭 I have watched so many you tubers try to explain and demonstrate the process of resizing of patterns. You are the first Queen that helped me to finally understand how simple it is. I felt like a total IDIOT, until I watched your tutorial. Great Job!! Your awesome 😃👏
Yes I would love for you to do a video on pants when doing pants it's a hit or miss for me I made the perfect pair of jeans now I don't remember how I cut them😕Thank you so very much for sharing💜💜💜💜💜
Thanks a lot for this video. One question if a make this for a smaller size i have shift the pattern to the fold but will the neck line still the same? Greetings from holland.
I am trying to grade a multi piece bodice pattern with shoulders from a 10 up to a 12, and down to a 4. Do I leave the shoulders and armscye the same, or do I grade those up and dow, and if I do, do I need to move the bust, underbust, waist and hip lines up and down the same distance, for example an 1/8th of an inch?
Hello I watched your video and like the way you explains drafting. I'm not sure if this video is what im aking. I have a big problem with sizing and making my clothes in the right size even though I take my measurements and match them with the finished pattern measurements. I was wanting to know if you could do a video on how to take a pattern and measure it out with your exact body measurements and chose your size according to where your body measurements, are on that pattern.
I absolutely adore you. I love that your so successful but still offer knowledge to others. I have been wondering if i was doing it right and this let’s me know that I’m getting the hang of pattern making. A sleeve tutorial will Be great I had a client with very big arms but an extremely short torso and i struggled to get the patten correct. Thank you for allllll Your amazing videos you’ve taught me So much girl. ❤️

This is awesome and super easy to understand....My question is, I have to make multiple sizes of the same pattern, I have a medium now but I need to make a small and a large. I do not know how much to add and subtract to make these patterns.....any suggestions? Thank you...
Thank you, and if you Google you will definitely find some size charts the reason why am unable to answer your question is because when I do use the same pattern for different sizes I am going by my clients measurements if you don’t have a client or if you don’t have their measurements you can go buy a chart
Help!! I have a pattern question regarding the armscye measurement. How do you adjust the armscye measurement to make sure that the sleeve fits right and doesn’t end up webbed? I’ve been trying different adjustment techniques and I’m still not getting it right
Hey I’m Miranda I love your videos I just want to know do you do wedding dress I’m getting married in July and it hard to find someone that can do a Royal blue wedding dress
Thank you so much Anita. Would the sleeve pattern alteration be the same, ie: place on fold, leave the sleeve cap alone, mark arm measurements at upper arm, elbow and wrist then connect these? Oh, and extending down to the measured arm length? Please advise if this is correct. I love the way you make sewing intuitive!

Great job of simplifying how to increase a pattern. Where do I go to get the basic bodice pattern 😊
@@barbaragill5703 you are very welcome. I’m currently not in the process of selling them, but I will be starting to sell them soon in 2025.

I am going to do this with some vintage patterns that I found. I just need to copy them onto hard paper first.

Hi from nigeria. You have thought me so much and inspired me. Please can you do kids and toddler dresses or stock your closet plssssss
Abigail Ojeabulu when using kids I buy cheap kids clothes cut them and use them as patterns
Thank you once again! Can you do a cowl neck blouse?
will this work for making pants to, or just shirts?
Please. Do u still use the same dart measurement for all sizes?
Deem Mah yes but you also have to keep your clients measurements and do the work on each seam and part
Thank you, thank you!!!
Did you still sew the darts in after adjusting, or only if using non stretch fabric?
Is this without seam allowance ? Could I just do it on paper and then add the seam allowance then?
Beautiful 😘😘😘
