So as of late 2022 and early 2023… the Bose Smart Soundbar 600 is currently my favorite mid sized soundbar to recommend cause it gets plenty loud, it has a decent amount of bass on its own, it has great instrument separation, and thanks to its upwards firing speakers… it has tru dolby atmos support. I feel the Bose Smart Soundbar 600 is a great option for any bedroom or and medium sized living room. However, if you’re going to use this soundbar in your living room… you’ll might want some bass. Then you’ll might want to pick up the Bose Bass Module 500.

Man this is a crazy setup, I'm loving the 500 module with my 600 sound bar. This setup sounds amazing once you set-up to your liking.

@@119nato it sounds very good, but truthfully you have to add that subwoofer because I feel like you're robbing the sound bar of would it really could be. And when you feel the base coming out that bad boy and you smile every time you turn it on you know you made the best decision.

I hooked up my 600 yesterday and I was surprised that there is indeed some decent bass with just the soundbar. After seeing plenty of posts by people saying that there was basically none. This bar is for my smallish vacation condo and I'm going to try it w/o a sub for a while. I know a sub would enhance the sound a great deal but I am afraid neighbors might complain. So will see how it goes with just the soundbar.

@@timowthie No I didn't. The bass from the soundbar is sufficient for my environment. Very pleased with the bar. Ymmv.
Which choose between JBL Bar 1000 vs Bose 600 + Module bass 500 for bedroom?
I got my bass module today and paired it with my 600 and surround speakers. Amazing sound. Theatre like vibes. I'll get a 2nd bass module 500 once i get the budget to balance the sound dynamics...UPDATE: i got my bass module 500 and it transformed the sound to a new level....the well balanced bass with dialogue is amazing. no need to lower down the bass to hear it, it automatically adjust so the bass wont break ur eardrums like the other sound system😂.

Great video as usual..I have a soundbar 700 and bass module 700 in the lounge downstairs. I want to get bose soundbar 600 for my bedroom, Can I connect it to the same bassmodule 700 downstairs with out moving it to bedroom?! Thanks again.

Does the bass module help with volume ducking problems on the Bose tv speaker soundbar. When playing music that has bass the volume seems to duck like a limiter or some sort of compression. Wondering if the bass module alleviates that problem.

Does the 500 thump at all. I mean, will it sound good with rap music? I have the older setup that Costco used to sell right after the 321 system. Its bass is lacking. I’m just using rap music as a reference. Thanks
I wouldn’t get a Bose for base it’s never that body vibrating sort of base. Even my cheaper xkatana has a better base and bigger woofer for the price of one Bose module

The Bose setup you mentioned sounds way better than the JBL but it does come at an elevated cost (about $1500) compared to the JBL 1000s’ $1000 price tag. Not to say that the JBL is bad, Bose just have their mids & vocals dialed in… If you’re looking for more versatility around your setup the JBL might be a better choice; the 1000 has more than one HDMI in port (2.1 specification) and DTS support

The bass module tab disappeared on my Bose app after I unplugged my wired sub. It worked fine for two months previously. There has to be some simple fix but there is NO ONE TO ASK AT BOSE! Bose has great products but the WORST customer service
I you watch a teardown video of the Bose 500 sub, the driver size and the all plastic housing reminds me of a cheap logitech 2.1 system, more than a hi-fidelity audio system.
i dont see a difference anyone who has this product tell me if the bass module makes a difference its probably my speakers i cant hear a difference
Don't think it's picking up the full bass in the vid lol but I can tell the difference
I didn't notice a difference until I put on a movie that supported Dolby atmos

Do you have it on carpet? I've noticed it does not perform as well when sitting on carpet.
Finally someone here agreed with me...yes i dont see anyyyy difference with this module...believe me get a normal soundbar only it will be enough....why pay alot of money with no customer service after thry sell u what they want ? Try any other cheaper brand in the stores if u felt satisfied then buy it....dont get tricked by advertisements ...🙏🙏
