Dont worry about the AR 40 "ramp up", its totally over exaggerated, I was worried too because of all the rhetoric around difficulty spike, but turns out it really isn't that much different than AR 35, Im actually killing everything faster because I finally got enough mats to level up my support characters, people who said they hit a wall probably didn't level up their artifacts.
facts unless people some how just speed-ran 30-40 with out leveling their characters its not that hard

Agreed, am pretty casual and usually unskilled at combat in most games, no issues at AR 40 at all and my only five star is Klee.
So as long as the characters in your main team are around lvl 60/70 and have some ok gear you're good.
Yeah I didn’t notice much of a ramp up the only thing that’s hard for me is the hardest level dungeons.

Won't lie. Amber has the most pathetic looking ult. Most games have their arrow rains as some normal special basic attack and looks flashy. Hers ends within a second, small and.. Very forgettable.. I tend to forget if I used it at times if I dare blink while using it.

Crimson witch set dungeon is hard for me cos my dps characters are electro and fire. Its annoying as fuck that i invest into characters for them to be completely nullified in a dungeon.

Spent $60 and feel good about that. I've put more time into Genshin than I have other games I've paid full price for, so it is worth it to me. I love grindy games, well, fun ones like Genshin at least. Getting a bit burnt out at AR41, but having fun just doing commissions and finishing up the BP.

@@jesusrodriguezcolon8315 Few hours on week days, 5+ Sat and Sun. Started a couple weeks after launch, so definitely not as much as some, but AR41(42 almost 43 now) is a decent amount of game time.
Good shout on the gamble + rate side of things. Joke content and memes about "mah wallet" aside, some people are really susceptible to this kinda thing.
Mihoyo's got a good thing going with more mainstream recognition. I'm hoping it's not tarnished by content creators just Rolling and burning out as they're stuck indoors. Looking forward to what IPs/content they bring in the future.
yeah one good example is that content creator who mainly plays Destiny (ain't gonna say his name outloud in case his fans chase after me) said he was playing Genshin as a SIDE GAME, but in fact he was playing and pouring everything he had into it 24/7 then ranting non-stop about it

I feel the exact opposite tbh. Ive no problem saving for like half a year in Arknights. I am currently saving for Blemishine and Mudrock which are coming far far into the future. I dont even like the characters in Genshin but ive spend way more money on genshin than on Arknights already.

I think those two characters could certainly be the traveler with cosmetics. I've been under the impression that cosmetics will be a thing. While, so far, it's just the gliders, I expect more to come if they plan on expanding that at all. In which case, those concepts look like alternative cosmetic outfits to me.
Yes you know what I want from genshin I want more characters that transforms with their ultimate like Xiao imagine with me for a sec a character that has a hoodie over his head cant really see his face but when he uses ult that hoodie comes off and then you just go ape shit on enemies

So I fell in love with zhongli yesterday after finally reaching ar 29, and the kick and the Meteor looks sick, but I still really really want childe, the man's style switch is still one of the coolest things in the game to me. So I want both. That's why I'm officially revoking my f2p card on November 11th

Glad you addressed the moentization, i played the game once thru to AR30 F2P and learned a ton and then just rerolled a few times and got lucky with some wishes and managed my resources way better the second time. People complain about the money grabbing but you can work the game too if you really want to, spend 0 dollars, and get tons of enjoyment.

1.1 is more about quality of life, some non-resin content (the city rep system should at least mostly cost no resin), and I believe when they'll be adding more in-game events going by things they've said in the past. 1.2 will be the first real content update, which also would be the earliest they could lessen the restrictions on resin, at least a little, expect that to be something that goes on over the course of many such content updates, until the content we have now looks pretty trivial compare to the amount we will have then.
Honestly the games amazing, I've played the hell out of it. But I really want to try blue protocol.
Pretty sure people have been saying Xiao isn't going to be playable till patch 1.3 in February so definitely one I may be looking to save gems for down the line. But first I'm going after Zhongli at the very least. All with in-game currency, I'm not gonna get sucked in by the gacha even if that means I don't get everything I want.

I just spent once in the game and so far I'm playing F2P mode. I'm enjoying playing even thoug I just got mona as my first 5* and copies of fischl lol. I got a free characters and that is it. I know is a gacha game but there is no need to spend money on the game. Sooner or later you'll get the character you want just by playing and spending the daily primogems.

Xiao is most likely coming 1.3, make sense story-wise, and they need some time to rework his kit since in the beta he was the only one with aerial attacks.

I'm F2P haven't spend a single penny on this. I'm just hitting the pity and getting the characters that I want. Luckily got Mona on the last one instead Venti. Now I need 69 pulls more for another pity and will use it on Xiao. That's a guranteed for me if provided I can save up that much in time.

AR 40 isn't that tough but you definitely want to dodge a elite boss's attack. Still, if you can comfortable clear content around AR 35, you'll be good for AR 40. The true demons are the domains, but you can always complete it with other people. AR 45 seems to be the real difficult spike. Fitting of course.
Honestly, if you play the game everyday and you want to support the game then welkin moon is the way to go. Then wait for the character whose play style you really really like (Ayaka Kamisato I will get you) and roll away. The Battlepass is also nice IF you can max it out. Genasis Crystals are way overpriced (even more so after you buy it once since you lose the bonus) unless you have lots of money laying around in which case you should invest in stocks.

Honestly if you are going to pay money on Genshin I would recommend to only get the battle pass cause of the great value you get from it, just from playing the game everyday to get many rewards.

So, I got Diluc in my first pull ever. Loving the game so far and was wondering if now that I have my main dps sorted I should throw some money in there to see what up, nothing crazy tho. Is it worth it? Or should I just keep it f2p with Diluc on my team? ✌🏼
Stick to summoning on the character banner. You will hit pity with the free gems you can gather in game from achievements, quests, etc. As for what to buy, I recommend the Welkin's Moon Blessing if you get on daily. The Battle pass is worth getting for the resources alone. You also get access to a BP weapon and 650 primo gems if you complete the Battle pass. However don"t buy the current battle pass because it is ending in two days. Do however claim any rewards from the free battle pass before it's gone.
I hit ar35 and decided it was time to reroll to try and get atleast one 5 star before all the free wishes go away since I'm feeling a bit limited on my main right now anyways, I rolled 6 accounts hoping to get atleast diluc or mona, or really anything for that matter; and didn't even get a single 5 star. did they change the drop rate for new accounts to stop rerollers or was I just unlucky?
At first I was thinking childe looks strong and useful but then I remembered that I can’t even beat an oceanid so how am I going to ascend him and all my excitement instantly disappeared
I wanna try out new teams so if you have any ideas reply my only 5* are Jean venti and qiqi and I’m missing a couple 4 stars like Fichl and xinque
For anyone that thinks AR 40+ is some horror show, dont worry about it. It's not some big difficulty spike like some people make it to be. The monsters only get slightly stronger but you beat them the same way. Domains also doesn't lock easier stages so if you can't beat the current one just move down a level.
More content is good. That said, be sure to not fall in gambling addiction ppl (especially when this game's drop rate is abysmal lol).
