Videos always come in handy, ima do the sway bar, drive tunnel brace, and toe rods one of these weekends
The arms are fine, it's all the flex in the bushings that causes wheel hop.
+Grajeda it's more than bushings. The amount of vibration that comes through the car is crazy. Also I can bend them in Half without trying
You should mention that when ur going to tighten the sway bar the car has to be at its resting position not in the air. Great video and I like how ur friend helping u is into Camaros and Snap-On Tools.
All bolts are checked and recheck once it was on the alignment rack. (elevated, but int he resting position)
LethalGarage yeah I figured once it was aligned everything thing would be checked. Cause it was a great tutorial video it's just I was seeing it through a mechanic's eyes and that's the only thing that I would have added, but it's a great video.
I just got a chance to see this video and this is my point about buying a base model because look at that beautiful set-up. GM isn't giving that kind of rigid greatness with adjustable setup as well. By the way I just noticed we got everything done in the braking department except vented rotors. Plus they complement the wheels as always so don't forget those. Love this car and still waiting for my doe to come but I am very thankful for your channel and work you done so I know exactly what to do. Love you broski. Ahh ohhh forget about it the IROC-Z! LOL
A note to viewers. When adjusting endlink heights, the heights of stock links are for stock height cars so if your car is lowered, the new endlinks need to be shorter. End links should be neutral adjusted with the driver in the car so there is no preload on the sway bay. Preload is sometimes needed if drag racing and the car launches and puts weight on one side more than the other and makes the car pull uneven or traction is uneven. Sway bars need tuned to be optimal for understeer and oversteer thus the adjustable holes in the bars.
The control arms are made to crumple in an accident also so that the cradle doesn't sustain damage and you can replace the arms much easier than the whole rear end. That said I am still considering the same with my car.

I'm a 6th gen SS owner myself, and your car is awesome but the money you've put into it. Why not just go with a ZL1? I'm sure you've gotten this question before.
Isiah Thomas because after spending a lot on zl1, u have no money for mods. Mods is an addiction, it's not about money
The reason I dont have a ZL1 is i didnt want that kind of a payment. I work Over time to pay for mods. cant depend on it.

Looks like Mikey is a Snap On fanboy.
His CT8850 3/8 cordless impact and long reach 80 tooth bent handle ratchet (FHBF80) are great choices.
I also love the big set of wall mounted Snap on wire cutters it is an awesome decorative addition to any garage.
And the matching Snap On floor mat is a nice touch as well.

And the verdict is?
Shocks and springs, then sway bars, .......and then suspension locating arms. I'm sure those R888's with stock shocks are putting your bump stops through their paces.

My installer said that I had to replace all the bolts for the rear control arms and trailing arms since they are torque specific or couldn't be reused. He gave me a bag of bolts after install. I am not sure if that was just overkill or what? Looks like you used the same bolts. BMR didn't mention that anywhere in their instructions, or include them in the boxes.
I didn't seem to run into any torque on yield bolts.
Why does no one talk about the windshield fogging up on the 6 gen c as mero? They all do it. The hatch dont close all the way to the defroster and cold air constantly blows on the windshield causing condensation....
Because in California I don’t have that issue

Only a few parts were gifts, 95% of my parts have been paid for. What cost are you looking for?
I hope you reply soon lol, is the outer jam nut closer to tires silver or gold. Im trying to see what direction to install toe rods. One jam nut is gold, the other is silver.

when you upgraded to almost full bmr setup. did your camaro become a rougher ride? i was looking into getting it but im hearing people telling me it becomes very hard on the road as thought it becomes more track only.
It will get a rougher ride but nit a whole lot worse.
The big thing that causes a rougher ride are coilover suspensions.
im thinking about getting the 1LE kit from GM with the MRC tuning or should I do BMR. I had a full BMR suspension on my 12 SS and loved it. What about the cradle bushings on the 6th gen. On the 5th I had BMR delrin and they made the biggest improvement to the car of any mod.
I haven't done the front parts just yet.

I was a long time ago. back on stock springs.
Did you get the chassis brace? I just got mine in and it won't fit due to the locking dif module being in the way.
I have the tunnel brace.
Hey could you drive with e100 without damage with the flexfuel system you had before the procharger? Or is e85 maximum

Are bmrs better than magentic ride
Not sure you understand what magride is with this question. BMR parts are springs and control arms etc. magride is a tech within the shock.

Those parts should be made out of carbon fiber.

Does BMR have a solid mount kit for the differential? If they do are you going to replace the rubber bushing mounts with solid ones? if not may I ask why? Thanks. Also who is Mike?
I am only swapping the main upper and lowers and sway bars. I am not looking to swap the stock bushings. No need at this point.
