What a great DIY video, I am planning to put this kit in and after watching you do it I am 100% confident on doing it myself. Thanks for explaining this install.
Thanks.. Just did this on jack stands.. Hardest part was getting the car off the ground... Maybe an hr of work just because the pins fought a little bit.. Mine didnt come with instructions so this video was great !!
Thanks for the great video. I just installed this kit yesterday. I followed what you did. The only thing that was a pain, was inserting those pins. I put a ton of grease on them and inside the bushing. Two of them slide in. The other two is a tighten fit. I have to really hammer them to where I was able to screw in the bolt with the aluminum washer. It then seated itself as I tightened. I’m going to get the car realigned this week. I’m kinda of anal about stuff like that. Your son did a great job of filming, and editing as well.
Thanks for making this video. Just installed this kit and for anyone wondering you should be able to do this install with the exhaust on of you have aftermarket mufflers. I think you could still do it with the stock big suitcase but it will probably be annoying to do the rear.
I used a floor jack with an 8 inch 1/2 inch extension to get the stubborn bullets to seat all the way, had to use my feet to pump the jack handle but it worked great after some trial and error since I did mine on the floor of my garage.
It’s hard to say bc I did so much at one time, with the trailing arms at the same time. The rear is definitely more rigid, as you can feel more vibrations and feedback. Did it make me any faster, it’s hard to say…maybe haha, I know it’s not a definitive answer
Did you have the exhaust removed for this install? Or just to make it easier to film. I'm going to be doing this on my QuickJack and wasn't planning on removing the exhaust. Also noticed you had the rear bumper/fascia removed. Doing some other work? Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
I had the exhaust and rear fascia off for other work. I think you can do it with the exhaust still in tact. Definitely no need to remove the rear fascia
I recommend it but you may get lucky. All of the control arms are suspended from the subframe, so if you lower it from the car, it might not go back up in the exact location it dropped from. It’s not gonna be anything major and you probably won’t notice it visually, but it definitely could lead to some premature tire wear or adverse handling at the limit. For as expensive as these rear tires are, I’d recommend a good alignment afterwards.

Thanks for posting the video. Helped me with my installation today.
I'm interested in getting a pair of those rear suspension tie-down brackets!

Any more road noise after installing these?
Nice clear video!
Thx for this video! Helped a bunch
Great video wish you could do my zl1 !!!!! I don't know anyone in st Louis that could do it .
Very helpful, thanks!
I'm thinking of doing both trailing and control arms and chassis brace all bmr
Do you feel any improvements after this??
great video! can you install bmr rear cradle brace as well for better rear chassis stiffness?
Well done! Can you give us a track update?

@@trackcarzllc thank you. I think I saw your dark red Challenger at VIR last month.

Does vehicle has to be aligned afterwards?

Was that a ZL1 or a ZLE originally?
Just an SS 1LE
@@trackcarzllc lol I guess that's what I meant.
Wonder if I could fill the openings in the bushings with epoxy or something similar 🤔
Aren't the cradle brace bolts torque 2 yield?
yes
