I'm confused! On first listen I thought this song sounded like a Stray Dog song called Crazy and the vinyl shows that Snuffy Walden wrote it. They are definitely the same song but the Stray Dog album came out in 1973 so it appears that Stray Dog may have ripped off this guy but although I like Stray Dogs version much better...I've never even heard of this guy. i noticed other comments below referencing Stray Dog as well so any input in clearing this up would be cool.
He released one album in 1972, which is pretty good. This track was however only released on a 7". Here's some more info about him: therockasteria.blogspot.com/2014/10/jerry-williams-jerry-williams-1972-us.html
It wasn't credited to Nitzinger on the Bloodrock album, it says Kates/Garret. The Bloodrock version and Jerry William's versions were however released the same year. Funnily enough the Stray Dog version released in 1973 says it was written by Snuffy Walden ;-)

From what I know, both Stray Dog & Bloodrock did this song. In different tempos.
Me likes !
I have listened to it by Bloodrock
Stray Dog - Crazy
Nice ! Sounds a little bit like Bloodrock, I know the voice is very different, but the music is similar.
Which came first? This or the Stray Dog version? - - okay, looked it up. This came first. But Stray Dog did a good cover for 1973!
bloodrock has a cover too
Both Bloodrock and stray dogs have different credits for their different versions. So who actually wrote it?
