There is no doubt about that! The way the cars still make us feel is unreal! Nothing better than blasting about in a saph with that old skool turbo spoooool.
Seeing that intro, a trio of cossies banging away on some back roads. Made me feel like a teenager again! racing up and down the a68, around morpeth. Thank you so much for that.
I remember being in the passenger seat of Adam’s first Cossie! With Adam driving was an experience and a half! Remember his blue wide arch escort! Love for Old Ford’s are from these lads!!
Great video guys, thanks for keeping the windows shut despite it being a very hot day, the sounds were picked up beautifully and caught some lovely YB symphonys 👍. Cant wait to see more cossie videos
My dad bought a new Sierra sapphire in 1987.A real cool car 2.0 GTI GLS.I think the sapphire was a new design back then because before they were hatchbacks or estates. But that GLS with low profile tyres that were fitted to the car looked great and it did make road holding much better with the 2 litre fuel injected engine putting more power down on the road.Funny i`ve got a 1.5 i Passat, same size car goes 20 miles an hour faster than that did
Ah, J96 BOO. Seen this a couple of times over the summer. Chester Rd heading to A1 and once in Fencehouses. It looks spotless and nice to see it's a bit naughty under the bonnet! Great to see you lads uploading again 👌🏻
@@onthelimiter6529 Nice one, mate. Meant to say twice on Chester Road. Exactly the same place. Felt like I was in the Matrix lol. I live in Houghton, I'll give you a flash if I see you when I'm in my MR2 turbo - but I won't try and race you 😂
hhh boys this bring back so many memories for me. I had my saff when I was 21 . Smokestone blue 4x4 k plate with 362 bhp 12 years was a beast. God I Miss that car so much
Reminds me of travelling in convoy off the Stranraer Ferry through the night to the big RS shows Standford Hall etc. Really fast not racing just eating the road till the sun came up. Kidlington lake services first stop for breakfast.
Adams mk4 wide body escort was beautiful too. If I remember rightly he had that in Revs magazine back in the late 90's.then he got the magenta cossie I think. Nice lad.
Lovely to see guys I remember the day I bought Adams 1st magenta one from him g876fms loved it I really need another one now god the blockyard days were the best
You can’t beat Cosworth’s, having four 4x4’s 2 of them fortunately were brand new February 1990 on a G reg in flint grey then traded it in for 1992 spec k reg black one. 2 white H reg’s back in the mid 90’s. I grew up with Cosworth’s and to me was the finest family car around. My black 92 spec was stolen alongside my brothers new white 1991 J reg rouse sport in 93. Both cars had under 3k mileage the rouse only had less than 1k. Professional burglary artists found the keys and vecta immobiliser fobs and driven away from the garages never to be seen again. Also the cheeky cunts made sandwiches and coffee’s knowing probably i was abroad. I was absolutely heartbroken 💔 but replaced it with a 1991 H reg white 4x4 with 450bhp this vehicle must of been the best one because at time only had 9k with a outstanding performance and looks especially with a genuine RS500 front splitter and steering wheel. Don’t make cars like this no more. Great video guys and love your cars..
It’s amazing that any of these cars are still alive, in the 90’s you were almost guaranteed to lose your cosworth through the night. The survivors were clearly owned by hard cases or bolted to the ground lol
@@onthelimiter6529 I’m 47 I’ve always wanted a cossie but way out priced.. had to go for the golf r in the end. Still fun but will never be as great as the cossie.. maybe one day..
Love the video guys, however have you heard of 1080p, 4k or external mics on the camera? Mibae its just edited bad as the rode mics you have on your T shirts are decent but sound like they are distorting? Not having a go lads but this video is excellent but could have been out of this world on my big telly if it wasn't filmed in 480p. Sorry if I sound like a dick though.
