i just ran upon your channel by accident and I have to say you are so beautiful and well spoken, so kind with your help and advice. I am now 69 and a couple years ago I tried intermittent fasting and dropped weight so quickly and felt amazing but my husband's dementia got worse, I got depressed and quit fasting and gained all my weight back. Finding your channel I believe is a real blessing because he passed away in June of this year and I am struggling to learn to take care of myself again. Thank you. Oh and I LOVE those red seats in your vehicle!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your story. I’m so sorry for your loss, and I admire your strength as you navigate this new chapter. It means a lot to know my channel has been a blessing to you. You’re not alone on this journey, and I hope the content here continues to support and encourage you as you take care of yourself again. P.S. I’m so glad you love those red seats-they’re my favorite too! ❤️
Eating slowly is a big challenge for me. I need to work on this! Also, fasting while grocery shopping is also a no no. I did this and ended up picking up something quick to eat after my fast. Yes, and menopause...😔 Great tips!
Struggling with weight loss often feels like an uphill battle, where every attempt to make progress comes with its own set of challenges. When I heard the words, "You don't have a food problem; you have a WILL problem," 🔥🔥🔥 it hit me hard. It made me realize that discipline and consistency are the real hurdles, not just the food itself. I’ve decided to commit to a year of Alternate Day Fasting (ADF) to take control of my weight loss journey. My plan is clear: stop eating by 8 p.m. or earlier, then fast for 40 hours straight, breaking the fast at noon two days later. It’s not just about losing weight; it’s about proving to myself that I can stick to a challenging routine and develop the mental strength to succeed. ADF provides structure, reduces decision fatigue, and forces me to confront my habits head-on. By focusing on this rhythm, I aim to reset my relationship with food, foster discipline, and achieve the health and energy I’ve been striving for. This isn’t just about the scale-it’s about transforming my mindset, embracing resilience, and finally taking control of my health.
That is an honorable challenge to commit to ADF. It is very rewarding for sure but to remember no need for perfection, just consistency that works with your lifestyle. Best to you! 🙌🏽🩷
This is only the second video of yours that I've seen and had to chuckle when you went through the rules of fasting. I was eating my first meal after my 16:8 fast routine while watching your video. I looked down at my food and saw a small plate with two pieces of grilled salmon with pistachios sprinkled on top along with a whey protein smoothie on the side. My daily exercise is bike riding along the beach (8 miles), which is perfect low impact treatment for my arthritic knees (I'm 100% pain free). Although I have not established a firm overall strength building routine yet I'm closely looking at using resistance bands and/or purchasing a total body weight machine for my home. It was very encouraging to see that I basically had all of the boxes checked before even seeing your video 🎉.
Your routine is impressive, and it’s clear you’re taking intentional steps toward health and wellness! Love that you’re already on top of so many aspects of fasting and fitness. Adding resistance training sounds like the perfect next step. Thanks for sharing your journey and keep up the fantastic work! 🙌🏽🩷
Love your videos I’m turning 46 this year and I’m really trying to find my fasting routine/lifestyle between omad and adf . Also my hormones are all Over the place 😩 and gluten/dairy/sugar seem to be the triggers so I stay away from those foods..I’m looking forward to learning from your videos ❤Thank you
Thank you for commenting and appreciate the positive feedback! It sounds like you have a really dynamic fasting schedule, although be kind to yourself with the hormonal fluctuations. Hope to interact with you more! ❤️
I completely understand how it can feel when creators are overly pushy with selling. For me, I put countless hours into creating content that’s valuable and genuine. While I do offer some products and services, I always aim to keep the focus on serving and connecting with my audience. 🩷
Hi there! Thank you for visiting the channel. I look forward to sharing videos of value for you. At least that is my hope! Appreciate your comment also! 🩷
Hi ! I'm on a merry go round for sure. I've been losing about 10 pounds a year for the past 3 years. Not much I know, and in the past year I've only lost 5. I can gain 5 pounds in one day 😔 Christmas is coming. I'd love to lose this 10 pounds I've been trying to lose once and for all. I'm starting my diet today 😆 500 to 1300 calories a day including intermittent fasting so I can be my lowest weight ever 131 ! Yay 🎉 your videos are very motivational to me. I look forward to the next one.
Hi Laura, I hear you! This time of year can feel like a battle between us and the holiday treats! Starting today is a solid move, and I know you’ve got what it takes to hit that 131. Just keep it steady and give yourself grace along the way. I’m rooting for you! 🙏🏽🩷
@reggisweat thanks, I've been doing omad which helped me to get from 231 to 141 over a very long period of time but it can help me no further since I easily eat over 2000 calories in my one meal. No amount of exercise can make up for that. I walk 25 thousand steps in a day and still burn less than 2000 calories and heavy duty cardio is too stressful on me these days. So now I'm just going to have to pay extra special attention to my portion sizes! Thanks for the encouragement. Better to start now than wait til after the new year. I could do alot of damage by then. I'll be 53 in January. I don't want to feel another year older.
That’s such a fun and creative comment! Thank you for the kind words. Believe it or not, I used to do some acting for side gigs years ago, so I guess you spotted something! Maybe it’s time to bring out my inner PI for a future project. 😉
Hiiiiii again, Reggi🫂🤗 Another great video with tips we can use, so thank you friend! I hope you are feeling ok - since your last day of work. Doing and feeling are different, so please take care of yourself and give grace -deciding to leave after 10yrs is an adjustment, so don't be hard on yourself🫂 Always good to hear from you - thanks again for the tips🤗🫂💯
Thank you so much for checking in and for always being such a kind, supportive friend here! Your words mean more than you know. It’s always a pleasure to see your positive feedback! 🩷

That is why you look So good. Fasting is the key for a lot of health problems.
I appreciate the compliment my friend. Fasting is a life saver in many ways. 💙

Reggi. When I look at you. If you were an actress. I would have you as a PI in your own series.
