I'm not a fan of Godzilla tbh, but it seems to me that Mothra's "worm mode" is probably a stand for the actual moth mode. When he did a 360 I notice two connections on the bottom of the moth and the back of the larva that may connect. It would make sense that they could do it as a 'before and after' and to allow the moth to be displayed like the others.

Why are you so hateful? The original Godzilla movies are classics the best design of the characters. The modern ones are cinematic CGI abominations. Go watch the show get Smart that’s what you need.
all pretty neat for changing from an egg. I realize u have to lose some aspects of the monster to make it work. wished they could have made it so can pull Godzillas spikes out or attached them on.
