Great. Super work with a 2.5 tdi! I have an a6 with BDH engine, can you tell me your opinion to get to 300 hp? modified turbo, exhaust line, nozzles (which ones?) mapping......other...? You are n 1 on 2.5...!!! 👍
I have a 2.5tdi 4mo with gtb2260vk hybrid and some big big nozzles (way bigger than p970) and im running into a problem with smoke, theres always smoke no matter if the rpm is low or high, and there is visible smoke coming out when idling. The tuner said you cannot stop the smoke on idle because the nozzles are very big, so i wanted to ask if you have the same problem on idle :) Also the car is running 2.4bar boost and the tuner tuned to boost to 2.7bar but the boost still stays at 2.4bar and doesnt want to go higher and the boost starts coming in at 2000rpm but full boost is only at 4000rpm maybe you know what could be the problem with this nightmare of a build :D And its only making hardly 250hp (no dyno, compare to other cars) when it should be capable of well over 330hp (there are dyno sheets with same turbo making 330hp) and i have no clue where i should start looking and diagnosing the problem. Thanks in advance
I need more input data. What engine you have? What nozzles you have? Is the turbo correctly adjusted? How much EMP you have? What other mods are done to the car? I have visible haze on idle if you look closely. Once the engine is hot it is not bad. Its still not tuned yet so hard to tell what it will be later. and my car is running low compression so that is one key factor for that smoke.
My old car what you are reffering had imho better fuel consumption with 270hp tune on it than on stockish form. Sure when you step on it it uses fuel but just regular street driving... pretty good. Under 5l/100km. This new one never is not built for that economy but i think it might be semi ok too
@@bigdiffas thx for the answer did u have any Problems with the engine, with 270 hp tune lot of smoke ? and what is better 1.9tdi or 2.5tdi i want to buy one and i dont know wich one to chose
@@thereplay4823 that depends what your priorities are. 1.9 is somewhat more simple and easier and cheaper to fix. I think 2.5 is reliable too. Only bigger issues ja faced was the broken manifolds. Once they let go they will destroy turbo. Smoke is not a issua at that powerlevel

Basically bigger nozzles, bigger turbo, ecu mod, exhaust, 4bar map, bigger fmic and extra lift pump. Heads needs to be cleaned from EGR soot
Personally, I'm aiming for 550 hp or even 600 with my 2.5 tdi, is that possible?
Sure it is possible. It is quite big build for that power but totally doable.
@@bigdiffas ok Nice 😀 tanks

what injectors are you using?
@@adi3468 i got thsese from my mate as used units. They should be cpc +90% units
@@bigdiffas do you know any good injector tips for 300hp? which are mass produced?

How was the fuel consumption wenn you got 250 hp can you daly drive it ?
By the way nice car

generally hybrid turbos or slightly bigger ones does not have a drastic change on mpg if u drive it normal
