Stoat has come to make an announcement.

Lethal also works quite well
Imagine how powerful markimoo would’ve been if mark chose the NO COST card
LITERALLY WHY DID HE CHOOSE THE CARD THAT COST ONE BLOOD, It could have been FREE
Mark's self conscious made him blind to the no cost card because; deep down, he wants to be challenged.
Why buff the card you intend to be free blood anyways? If it lives past more than a couple turns it's probably a misplay anyways

I had upgraded mantis gods with 3x3 attack power (they attack 3 times).... This game begs to be cheesed and it's because it wants you to find your way out
I mean he IS the king of the squirrels so that tracks
He is still making poor plays. Not min-maxing his overkill damage, unnecessary sacrifices, getting rid of all his pelts before trapper fight, etc.
The game is designed in that the more you lose the easier it gets
Mark going from never pulling the squirrel cards to reclaiming the crown as the king of squirrels in 3 episodes was really a journey to witness
He still never pulled from the squirrel deck

You gotta love how Mark has been smashing through all the challenges with his Squirrel, Goat, Urayuli combo. Its like this one player in fighting games who keeps beating everyone with that one cheap but effective combo.

I can’t believe no one is talking about marks impressive ability throughout this series to give every character a unique yet perfect voice as he reads the text with no context or preparation.
That’s a given, everyone’s so used to it being a standard gaming commentator skill that i’d be weird for a normal let’s player to not have it, let alone one of the pioneers
The guy has years of experience and he used them well.
I started properly exploring UA-cam about 4 years ago, and the amazing voices that mark gives to characters is the main reason I love to watch him play these types of games. It’s an impressive skill he has and he could easily make a career of VA if he chose to. Plus Lixian really elevates marks videos to another level. Both of them together is the ultimate play ☺️
It's a no-brainer.
He's made a bunch of _A ___ with Markiplier_ UA-cam series, which means doing multiple takes all the time. Adding the-series-that-must-not-be-named to the mix, he's unstoppable at improv.
Well, they _used_ to be unique until he defaulted to the Scottish-esque accent for everyone 😂
Some advice (no spoilers tho): the ringworm's description is a big hint that this game has tons of hidden mechanics. I will say, the ringworm's ability has something to do with the hungry survivors around the campfire. But that's one of many hidden mechanics. There's more to do away from the table, too. Good luck Markiplier.
It also counts as a ring card.

@@jesse3391 yes and no. Something cool CAN happen. That's all I'll say

yep
Mark notices

And he also had gotten an eye, specifically a goat eye and that’s why he say a very pretty goat😂 cuz with a got eye you see a goat and like it😂
I was thinking it would! Hadn't seen a run ended with one eye yet, but the impression this game gave me definitely made me think it would show.

Little did Mark know that Ouroboros counts as a ring. And Ringworm would've too.
Campfire the Ringworm. At one point the settlers will stab and eat your creature. So using the Ringworm or Adder will kill the settlers if they take the card. Every Campfire after that will mean 5 risk-free upgrades to your card.
Also if I remember correctly it can be used as a “ring” in the boon section near the end of act 1
is that not what he did at 20:55? i don't know anything about the game besides what he's played so i might be wrong but they didn't do anything. are you saying to keep using it at the campfire until they do eat it?
@@lazxrev He did (I commented before finishing😅) After another run or two, it will start allowing you to risk keeping your card by the fire multiple times.
@@Royal-fl2oe Idk, I'll have to test that. You can find an actual ring in the cabin though. (Cuckoo clock --- o' clock)
@@JGrix oh cool!
The ringworm is actually to kill the campers who offer to power up your card if you put it by the fire. If you power it up until they eat it, they die and you can infinitely power your card at a camp fire
Edit: thanks to the people who mentioned the touch of death kills off the campers too; I'm currently working through the 8th or 9th level of Kaycee's mod and killing the campers is one of the best starts to get beefy cards
No wonder the DM said "It's value isn't immediately apparent"
It can also be used as a ring in the boons challenge in the end

Draw four squirrels with that totem and the hobo will never be able to kill you without a flyer.
@@demfrodegroot7596 exact thought it was driving me crazy lmao
@@demfrodegroot7596 Tbh it's sorta useless to draw more than 2 - 3 squirrels with the return to hand totem. If you have an okay or perhaps good hand at the start of your fight, it's a guaranteed win unless you somehow screw up extremely bad or you're in a boss fight and screw up or don't have a relatively good hand.
This comment comes from personal experience. I overlooked one thing in the Prospector boss fight. and forgot to place down 1 squirrel to defend and that cost me the game.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 His name is Leshy.
Hey Mark- in the event that you do read this, the goal of the Ring Worm involves the campfire event. Later on, you'll be able to "push your luck" and keep enhancing creatures at the risk that they get eaten by the survivors around the fire. Normally, this is bad; in the case of the ringworm, you want them to eat it. If they do, the survivors will be dead for all future encounters that run and you can enhance your creatures many times at each fire.
It also can make you pass the Trial of The Ring, which isn't bad at all.
Yes, also it can poss for the final Trial of the Ring, and also you can make them eat an Adder and that works too
also the ring worm can be used at a specific trail on the last chapter.. in most cases not relevant, but it might come in handy once in like 100 runs

Follwing mark for so long i believe many would have guess he will take that imeadiately.
Tbf, the game is a liar.
Well it looks like an item that would be important to the games lore later on so it makes sense he took it knowing mark
#1 ON TRENDING GAMING!!!!! LETS GOOOOOOO
They need to make this a real board game and just put the totems on cards you can attach together or something.
Ohh and use velcro/stickers/magnets for the extra attachable sigils too!
Mark: “That is the most Overkill I could have possibly done”
Mark on episode 9-12: 50 Overkill from his SUPER OROBORIS
Me: *still processing on how lucky mark was to get the undying squirrel*
Mark: "A BLONGHORN?!"
3 bloods sigil squirrel is way better lmao, that wasn't really lucky.
@@kurayamiblackheart not with Mark's place style it isn't
@@kurayamiblackheart I've tried both and tbh I consider them almost at the same level with undying being better. Undying squirrel lets more unit out on the field so it's good if you're on forced defense, also is good for planning overkills as the squirrel recycle back to your hand. As for 3 bloods it's good to put a powerful unit early, but it's gone as soon as it's used.
@@spotted-gausford yeah the big strength of undying squirrel is that he doesn't have to draw mana cards again
@@spotted-gausford I beat leshy both with undying squirrel and three blood. Its honestly all a matter of preference. If you like 3-4 cost more 3 squirrel is better, while 1-2 is better with undying
Fun fact: the "Leshy" the green pulp of pain and misery is talking about refers to the GM, but Leshy are also Treant-like creatures from east-European folklore (you probably know them if you've played the Witcher) that are famed for their gambling addiction. It was said that Leshy would congregate and bet parts of their forests on their games. This explained the phenomenon of forests "moving" (aka having more or less trees over the years). So that's a really nice detail
Leshy is the old man, not the green pulp
@@SiffrinISAT You should read the comment again.
as a slavic folklore fan, i immediately thought of that when i heard leshy! So cool tbh
In Witcher they are called, Leshen.
@@SiffrinISAT I just had a Ni No Kuni II moment after reading this.

Mark "..oh. *Hi Squirrel* !👋"
😂 legit died when the squirrel *Not Only* got pulled in, but just started orbiting around and you could actually see it🤣
25:12 what if he merge urayuli with the mantis god😑
23:57 the mantis god has the best sigil in this game if you sacrifice it to the wolf it will be so deadly
Undying squirrel is like the most borked thing in this game, I love it.
Packrat squirrel is most op I've seen
I got Worthy Sacrifice Squirrel recently, beat Leshy for the first time with it. Second best was Worker Ant squirrel, gives you a new ant every time you play squirrel so you can just place them instantly.
@@DragonaxFilms Blood Squirrels are OP as heck. I finished this game about a week ago, and I told my friend to play it. They got Worthy Sacrifice Squirrels and a second Uruyuli right before the Mycologist, so they had a 14/14 Uruyuli, and then they also got the Forked Hit or whatever thing (attacks in a V), so they were able to second-turn for 28 damage lmao
@@KarianDespri Oh that's disgusting, I love it.
ouroboros is even more broken
Glad to see Mark finally remember that he's KING OF THE SQUIRRELS
Hey Mark if you ever want some tips on how to make your channel better hmu, I got some tips

Yoo it's you the lucky carder right?
@@vinn8710 hahaha that's right! Shamelessly shooting my shot at big mark!
Your acting really flawless, so natural
@@r.andrew4748 thanks my friend!
Of course mark love the undying squirrels he is the king of them after all 🤣
"...welcome back..."
Hell the absolute fuck YES! This needs to be a full playthrough. I don't even like deck builders and this has caught my eye like no other.
Same!! I’ve been gnawing at my notifications in anticipation. Cheers to your watch, friend.
Same, i don't even like card games but mark makes it so fun to watch
This is no normal deck building game, it's definitely worth a playthrough
@@snipowlthesniper5508 yeah the game kinda turns different after act1, and not for the better
@@snipowlthesniper5508 yeah even after watching Mark's playthrough up until now, I might just buy and play it myself.
I admit I laughed way too hard when he saw the undying sigil on the amalgam and went *"YOU'RE A SQUIRREL???"*
50:10 Thats some REALY impressive fortelling with Lorcana. Kinda scary

*Laughs in Ouroborus*
*Laughs in three way attack sigil*
@@grimsladeleviathan3958 I’m afraid you don’t understand the power of an ouroboros and an unkillable black goat
I got my ouroborous to 700 attack one time and then put the three way sigil on it

I love watching mark play unique games like this. Don’t get me wrong, conventional indy horror and stupid party games are great but its the unique one-off games that truly shine on his channel
Yeah, I've been loving this so far. Even convinced me to buy the actual game and it SLAPS! I usually don't like the horror stuff, but this is an exception.
@@MistaWithAnM4 i bought it too and I never buy games that i watch
For those of you who bought the game I recommend not playing after getting out of the cabin because it is total waste of time.
@@bluem516 ??????? Its really fun
32:48 live footage of mark discovering what amalgamation means
I can't stop laughing at, "Please don't be naked."
I can never picture squirrels the same way again after watching you play this game.
You know Disrupt TV featured you in his latest video
you again
he is after all, the king of the squirrels
why are u everywhere
Going into the campfire with a full inventory will give him a special card
This is honestly one of if not the best series from Mark I've seen. Every time I see one of these videos it brightens my day, whether it be his hilarious commentary, amazing (but somehow also quite dumb?) gameplay, or random squeals of terror. Keep up the good work Markiplier :)
same i'm so happy he's still the same mark he's always been. loves games and always remembers where he came from. truly the most wholesome big name youtuber on the platform. Pewdie pie, jack bob, wade etc are all up there for sure but mark is at the #1 spot
SAME!
47:35 Mark’s editor is so good at his job that he couldn’t help but do the fictional youtuber’s editing too.
49:01 people went to these coordinates and actually found floppy disks.
just in case anyone was curious, after you die 3 times as in make a deathcard 3 times, anytime u come across a fire on a map, u have the choice of using it multiple times. if u put a ringworm or anyother poison creature through it and kill it, the next time u use the fire the people are gone and u get to use the fire to add either 5 attack or 10 health to a creature everytime.
also you can use the ring worm as a ring at the end
What was up with the static card then? I've never seen that
@@marcosramirez2278 it becomes a random card when you draw it
@@dacianatrif490 cooool
I must say, Markiplier really honed his skills and how he thinks as time went on. He went from playing moves on a whim, to really strategizing how he would enact his turns. Thanks to him, I'm pretty hooked on this. Imma buy it soon tbh. Probably one of my new favorites in terms of playthroughs on this channel
A very tiny spoiler, the game goes DEEP down the rabbit hole just like Pony island.
Mark has not even seen 1/4th of the madness this game has to offer... ( and then there is also a pretty decent modding community )
It's a great game and i highly recommend you acquire it, preferably legally...
I am OBSESSED with this game so far. I’ve rewatched these 3 videos like twice. As soon as I get the money I’m buying this. I played the demo as well.
I just want to say…we’ve barely started the game. There is so much more going on in this game than you realize.
@@zayenus7253 I’m so excited to see everything else this game has to offer.
he should've kept the ring worm. If he warmed it by the fire until the survivors ate it, they'd die so you could power up
Also it's used in trial of the ring
At this point he can even do the double camfire yet
6:38 "Now i got a stinky weasel"
I choked on my pasta ffs lmaooooo.
So good to finally see Mark make some great choices in this game, that unkillable squirrel is awesome
Very satisfying indeed
He could made the oruoboros infinite power and health with that combo...
Mark getting the Undying squrriel right off the bat is just... god damn
It's intentional during the game. It always shows up after the first 2 deaths.
I love how they do small edits to the Lucky Carder’s clips 😂 those zooms had me dying.
49:25 Idk about you, Mark, but if I got coodinates to a random spot in the middle of nowhere with nothing around, my first instinct would be to dig at the exact location of the coordinates.
