- ►Replacing the rear drop-links on your 987 Porsche Cayman or Boxster is a regular part of ownership. They're a common wear spot in the suspension and make themselves apparent by clicking and clunking over bumps and in sharp cornering. Because they connect the sway bar to the dampers, their ball joints are in near-constant movement, which leads to excessive and accelerated wear. Luckily, a rear drop-link replacement on a Porsche 987 is straightforward and shouldn't take much time.

Loved the video. It must be really nice to not have to deal with the rust i live with. I use penetrating oil on the threads the day before to loosen them.
