Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Awesome info Brother! See you on the platform!
Can't wait!
Good stuff! As a man planted smack dab in the middle of Indiana, I had no idea there were competitions. Granted, I’m still looking around trying to figure out if there are any certifications for teaching movements with the club or mace. Would you know of any? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Check out macefit.com/ Frank has a good program going on there.
@@ADEXClub thanks a ton!
What kind of supplemental training would you do in addition to this?
Any and all body weight exercises. Prime all the pathways that you need for life. Squats, pushups, lunges, walking, cycling, stair climbing. any and all of the above. Traditional weights.
What weight is used during the competition? Is it based on the weight of the individual or are there weight "divisions"?
The athletes choose which weight they'll swing at. Novice men usually begin about 20lbs and the women 15lbs. The weight (body) divisions for men < 175, 175 - 210, > 210 and women are < 135 and > 135. Athletes can and sometimes have to compete in mixed weight flights (groups) but are recorded at their weigh in weight.
