Amazing! In my opinion the sound of the production of early Opeth is a part of its magic, but hearing it like this, richer and more "alive" makes it very interesting. Also, I know some people don't listen to early Opeth because of their "raw" sound, so this might be something for those. Very cool job, I'd love to hear whole Orchid remastered like this, as well as you did with Morningrise.
Yeah, for me My Arms Your Hearse production really adds to the atmosphere, so slighlty rougher production is actually better to me personally on specific albums.
The second Opeth song I discovered on UA-cam a decade ago, closely following Harlequin Forest. I found your Morningrise remasters and was extremely impressed, never realized how distorted the guitars sounded until I heard your remasters. Subscribed! (Also I don't know if you're taking requests but I'm a huge Insomnium fan, and their first three albums could use some serious love too!)
Again the command of melody in the last half is godlike.
