I use manilla folder for my stencil. Sick MR2 man, yea I'm all about that kanjo style! I don't have adobe and all that mine is strictly stencils from home depot,I pressed the manilla against my wheel and tire til the pattern presses through then I cut.
If you used the vinyl with a tire lettering marker, it would be more permanent and come out a little bit cleaner, no overspray but other than that great idea and sick build !
this is dope but the spray paint doesn't last to long and it gets dirty, i think a cool idea would be to use white flex-seal because its practically rubber in a can and you could scrub it to clean it and it wouldn't come off.

i get asked this often too .. honestly , try and fail, retry till you get what you wanted , research and practice to know what to use in what situation to get the right results . you can do it! just try and don't let go your goals
I already know this won't last for shit... the paint will crack and yellow within a week, when your tyre flexes it will flake straight away. I've already tried it.

With the cardstock method you could use 3m spray adhesive on the back to.make it stick to the tire and seal better.

You can also use one of those paint pens. That they use for touch ups. Just throwing ideas out there if you want to free hand it.
