Follow the laws, people! It's illegal to use vaps in Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, and Thailand. There are also good websites that tell you when the best time of year to travel to different locations.
You said you were for two months in Thailand, where vaping is absolutely forbidden and penalized (you wouldn't have escaped with a $100 fine). Why you didn't inquiere on the legality of vaping in Laos?
Number one rule when traveling. If you break the law and they just try to squeeze some money out of you, then consider yourself lucky. You pay the money, you grin ear to ear, bow at the officers, and then move on. Also, please familiarize yourself with the laws of other countries. For example many countries outlaw pepper spray.

Yeah, we loved our time in Panama! 🇵🇦 Gonna be in this region of the world for sometime, but will definitely come back eventually. There’s a few places there for us to still explore! 🙂🙌
I heard and many could back it up if you live in this country..its not uncommon for their employees not to get paid for months and sometimes be given rice instead of cash. Vaping in Asia is not the same as in the West it is dangerous drugs and substances they use over there from the neighboring countries. Sure to you was innocent but it's a major problem for them…. I believe Myanmar is too. In Singapore, you can't chew gum or spit on the street and get a fine 10 times…know the law before you go.
Actually it doesn't sound authentic to me. Others don't have any problems. Or they could have been involved with drugs at some time or they could just fabricated this story.
Ignorance of the laws of the country you are visiting is no excuse. Laos for the most part is a beautiful country. This goes for the Laotian people as well. You have to realize that the Laos China railway is an international railway subject to the same security as international airlines. As white tourists you are open to scams by some corrupt police. You need to research the countries you visit better. I understand your anxiety at them taking your passports. It happened to us in Shanghai China, after our flight was rerouted. It’s a scary moment. Before our connecting flight was boarding, our passports were returned. To this day I don’t know why they took are passports, no explanation was given. Perhaps they thought we were criminals or drug dealers. This problem you had could have happened in many countries, not only Laos. One of the downsides of international travel.
This is not a disaster. I thought the train blew up or something. An extortion from corrupt officers, yes. As experienced travelers, you ought to have known better. Ridiculous clickbait.😂
So you went during rainy season, knowing that it was rainy season then you complain, hmmm not very smart of you. Then you break a law then complain about it, maybe you should've done more research. And you add a click bait title. 😂

click bait title. please quit vaping ok?
That sucks should stay in Panama
Yeah, lesson learned for sure!
Actually it doesn't sound authentic to me. Others don't have any problems. Or they could have been involved with drugs at some time or they could just fabricated this story.
You need to know the laws before you travel to a country
Good advertising to stop vaping
Rubbish title
Can’t please everyone 🤷♂️
Can't accept the truth?
Thanks for watching! 🙂
So you went during rainy season, knowing that it was rainy season then you complain, hmmm not very smart of you.
Then you break a law then complain about it, maybe you should've done more research. And you add a click bait title.
😂
As we said in the video, we did know it was rainy season, and we know now it’s against the law. What’s also against the law is extortion…
Thanks for the comment 🙂
