New Patient: Knee Pain

(Shared with gracious consent from our patient!)
This is a typical new patient visit -- this time focusing on a recent-onset of knee pain.
You'll see our consult, exam, report of findings & a hands-on demo of his "rehab homework", which is the home exercise program (HEP) I've prescribed.
Note: after the exam, our memory card ran out, so you're missing about 8 minutes I spend using myofasical release/massage to work on his hips & quads.
For MSK providers: you'll notice I give explanations and describe mechanisms that I suspect are accurate, but that can't be verified by current research. My intent here is to be "directionally accurate" with my descriptions.
Meaning, while the actual mechanisms may differ (as determined by future research) if the "story" is followed, the patient can understand, implement and see the results they want.
I almost don't care what's happening on a cellular level, for example, as long as we see consistent and rapid advancement toward the patient's goals, and these results are reproducible by them, to help prevent future recurrences.
