That was quite humble to hope if the presentation was satisfactory. This is the best channel on chess games analysis, I have benefitted so much from it. This channel is an apt reflection of Agad's immense passion for this awesome game.
Fabi prepared an offensive of such magnitude that we could just imagine him aiming a huge cannon at his opponent and firing multiple devastating shots. But, to my amazement, all of those shots just Dinged the impenetrable armour of the opponent and did nothing more. Ok, I know the pun is terrible, but I just could not resist. Pretty happy to see you posting this really quick lol. I watched this game move by move and on the endgames, Ding really played top engine moves. Definitely a great game. Keep up with the candidates agad!
I am so glad Ding won this. It was most satisfying at so many levels. I like Ding's style, so it's good that he finally got a point here. But more than that, I don't really like the course of present day chess, where everybody has an engine and the just try to catch the other guy out of preparation with 20 moves memorized. So it was awesome, that Ding could refute Fabi's preparation.

In the end of the video, Agadmator has brilliantly formulated my overall impression of Fabiano that I got during the WCC match in 2018. Fabiano is brilliant in memorizing complicated engine lines in the opening but he lacks the feeling of the game (says the guy blundering his pieces in every second game). It is the reason why I could not root for him in the match against Magnus. Fabi is like that person in school who is respected by teachers and peers for putting great effort for learning everything and getting good grades. BUT, there are always folks who get even better grades without putting so much sweat because they are simply smarter and they can cathc everything on the fly.

Agadmator - what an analysis! Your analysis is as great as the game itself. Well, no, that game was just off the charts. Thanks for bringing such videos including pictures, side-stories, backstories, while making it all look so easy.
I saw the video was added 24 seconds ago... already 7 comments... we are excellent subscribers :-)
This is just the Ding I was expecting. Very nice work, Agad. This is the longest video I've ever seen from you, and I never looked at my watch once.
FIDE Fantasy VII
Thanks for clarifying. Watching Magnus and Alireza, I couldn't really understand why they kept saying Ding was winning starting from half the game lol.
Think they were Just extrapolating. With the caruana's attack being neutralized, Ding was just up the pawns, at that level is a sure win. At least this was what my outclassed chess mind heard from them xD
At one momment, Magnus Said exctly what agadmator pointed. Teleport the king to g1, the rook to f1 and white is just.... Winning
They comment without engine so maybe ding felt the same
If you could understand how the greatest chess player of all time evaluates chess positions you probably would be playing in this candidates tournament.
You're making my quarantine better, thanks agad greetings from italy
We're upgrading to 30 mins games now...
Exciting stuff
This game shows that chess is not poker. Calculation beats bellufs.
No shit, chess is a perfect information game and poker isn't, they are as different as can be.
But the transition from chess to poker is pretty natural.
If only poker played for hours lol
@@user-dw4dq1if1m In Poker, the WSOP Main Event lasts 10 days and is played around 8 hours a day lol

That was quite humble to hope if the presentation was satisfactory. This is the best channel on chess games analysis, I have benefitted so much from it. This channel is an apt reflection of Agad's immense passion for this awesome game.
This game is the reason ding became my favourite in this generation nearly beating magnus 🎉
I will see myself out now.
this chess game gave me an adrenaline rush, incredible
this is still one of my favourite youtube videos
Engines are still analyzing to determine whether Ding opened up a can on Fabi or took him out behind the woodshed.
Fantastic presentation Agad. You have the most unreal way of making static things come alive. Thank you for the passion you share!
Pretty happy to see you posting this really quick lol. I watched this game move by move and on the endgames, Ding really played top engine moves. Definitely a great game. Keep up with the candidates agad!
Your Videos are truely the Highlight of my day thank you agadmator
I am so glad Ding won this. It was most satisfying at so many levels.
I like Ding's style, so it's good that he finally got a point here. But more than that, I don't really like the course of present day chess, where everybody has an engine and the just try to catch the other guy out of preparation with 20 moves memorized. So it was awesome, that Ding could refute Fabi's preparation.
amazing play by Ding and amazing video by agad! congrats on showing such a complicated game with perfect balance between lines that didn't happen and the actual game! thanks again for your work and keep going!
"It's just insane that there's such a difference in the clock if one of the players isn't Alexander Grischuck."
*Roasted*
I dont get the joke
@@zipsypd4181 Grischuck generally is always in time trouble.
@@flamedash1132 oh ok thank you
"How much complicated do you want the position to be?" "yes"
This game is classical Fabi. Extremely deep preparation, but weak when he's out of it.
Fabi is actually pretty solid in any situation unless it is a shorter time control. Ding just outplayed him in the match.
Excellent coverage, i was following live on the net, this made it a bit more understandable, Thank you !
It is an Identity card!
to get into Midgar's upper plate
And not final fantacy 7!! You kidding
He defeated an engine here .what a quote from agadmator ,well said
Ding to Fabi after getting punched by Fabi's advancing pieces: "You have NOTHING! Nothing to threaten me with all your strength!"
Funny, cause I just watched the dark Knight just now
Minor correction..
Nothing to threaten me with... Nothing to do with all your strength.....
I was super excited for this video
Ding is my favourite player. i don know why. He always have strange moves
Same feeling, he doesn't mind playing moves that don't really do much as far as we are concerned but little but little his position keeps getting brilliant.
Somehow I feel like his opening preparation is kind of off in this tournament, which is why in all three games he was behind after the opening
But against Fabiano he was able to find the absolute winning moves especially around the time when the black Knight goes from f8 to g6 and h6
This game is mad.the best of my life!!
Also thanks to Antonio. No one else could have made sense of this game other than you.
True champion is like a *spring*, more the pressure more the bounceback force.

Exceptional play by Ding countering Fabi’s offensive moves this was Ding in top form showing how he can make sharp and accurate calculations to offset his opponent and turn the game to where he has the upper hand putting Fabi in dire situation Truly Great Game by Ding Ding Chilling Ding Shining Thanks Agadmator
Always ready to watch agadmator
Brilliant game and brilliant commentary as always. Thanks for keeping us all up to date!
The last time I watched liked this was your coverage of Fischer's saga titled "OUTCLASSED" vs Bent larsen

Unbelievable!! Just a really bizarre match. Many congrats to Ding. And many thanks for the analysis.
King ding Is not to be underestimated. I want him to win the candidates and be the next Challenger.
It is the best game i have ever seen! And yes, you did it a complete justice Agadmator!! :)
''Radjabov is not playing'
me: candidates will be less interesting
ding loses two games
me: candidates is lame. I don't care for it.
Ding wins against Fabi.
me: alright alright alright
You crushed this video Agad. 💯 great job! 👏👏
This just proves what I've said since I seen Fabi play, he's a memory monster, he can remember such deep supercomputer lines, but he lacks natural ability like Carlsen does.
Right? Just imagine if Carslen had such deep opening book like Fabi. Not like Magnus has bad opening book, actually Carlsen is supposed to play the widest set of openings of all Grand Masters, but nobody dives so deep into preparation as Fabiano.
his name is calsen you dick head
@@ayoubyoussefi3996 lmao
@@ayoubyoussefi3996 NO its Carlsen I just typed it wrong by accident, no need to be a jerk, you just got his name wrong too.
In self isolation atm with this COVID-19, what's your excuse for being wrong?
That's just dumb.
You don't become the second best in the world, & reach the 3rd highest ever rating achieved in classical format in chess history if you aren't a "natural" lmao. Please don't ever say that again.
UA-cam algorithms just randomly recommended two Ding's king walk against Magnus and this one against Fabi. I think it's the sign that i should try that in my game
11:33 But still Ding has only 25 minutes on the clock and fabi still a minute and fort... sorry, an hour and 40 *SECONDS*
It was actually an hour and 40 MINUTES...AGA called seconds mistakenly several times
well yeah, he made a mistake on the time left, who cares? he was overwhelmed by the game and confused secconds with minutes. actually he makes this kind of mistakes all of the time, not important.
What an incredible game. I watched the live coverage and I thought Ding would lose on time. Unbelievable position. Furthermore, I enjoyed your coverage tremendously. As a matter of fact, I’ve been waiting for your coverage and I really enjoyed it. Thanks a lot for the hard work. I’ve been watching your channel for long time now and unfortunately this is my first comment. So, “ SORRY ABOUT THAT “ 😄
Incredible game. Beautiful sip of water, I must say.
I am a rather low level player, and you made this complicated game understandable to me!! Great Commentary!! Thanks !! Liked !! Subbed !!
If Ding wins the candidates
Magnus: Finally a worthy opponent our battle will be legendary
What a good movie... Which one is Tai Long?
@@pablobrowne3774 Magnus
FF7! Hell yeah @agadmator! Best game of all time! Can't wait for the remake. Thanks for this video as always.
So true
I don't think his memory is anything special amongst GMs. They all can memorize as many moves as they want to.
You did a great job presenting this awesome game! I look forward to the rest of the tournament. Anything can happen!
" i dont remember since when we had such a complicated game" - yesterday
agadmator, your chess channel is absolutely amazing. from format to the way you do a deep dive into the moves and more so get into the brain of the player, really awesome stuff your doing.
