How they put that much voice in Dio's little body is almost unbelievable. Dude was blessed with a rare power, even beyond his epic voice, in how he treated everybody that were graced to meet the elf in person. RIP Ronnie, you're not forgotten, and sorely fuckin' missed!
I am always thinking about, why i am watching the stuff from the 80 s ( and more older ). But most of the music of today don°t touch my soul. DIO is magic pure. R.I.P. Ronnie.

Craig Goldy's performance at this concert is the best guitar performance ive ever seen. His tone, accuracy, showmanship are one another level. There's no other guitar player to hide behind and Goldy just crushes it. As a guitar player myself I can spot the little nuances that Goldy is doing and its insane.
Totally agree. Filling Vivian Campbell’s shoes at that time was no easy task and he not only nailed it he brought his own virtuosity to light. A truly remarkable player and if he had been able to really show his stuff in “Giuffria” he would have been a household name 🤘
Dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you're bored like me atm then you can stream all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been streaming with my gf recently xD
@@damone70 Sometimes it's not that easy! I'm in Eastern Europe. We could't travel freely abroad before, and even if we could, we could't afford it. Even after fall of the Berlin Wall. Dio is my favorite since 80s. When in 1998 I read he's coming the first time in my country, I didn't sleep for 3 days. I never thought I could see him live. He was 4 times here, including at new years eve of 2007. And I was at all his concerts. But I was lucky. Very very lucky. I even have a picture with Him.
Good Lord!!! Boys and girls, they don't make 'em like DIO anymore!! I had to pause it after Don't Talk To Strangers so I could comment. One of DIO's best songs no doubt!! I started playing drums in the 6th grade, which was the beginning of the 84-85 school year, and I worshipped Vinnie Appice!! His long drum fills are like no other. As I grew older I noticed that he plays a lot like his idol, John Bonham, when it comes to his grooves, but his fills are all his!! I can't forget about another early favorite drummer, Nicko McBrain, from good ol' Iron Maiden. What a great time to be a kid in a small town, the kind of towns where metal is something you and your friends bond over. Thanks so much for posting this.
I fell in to smoking weed and skipping school. I remember Dio and all the metal in that time frame. I was 13 in 1984 and went wild. A tattoo was usually a demon or something like that. I grew up in a small town too in Adair, Michigan. A drummer was always a madman that was under control. Had we known each other we would have accepted that we were rockers sharing a common interest. Keep on rocking, PEACE
TheTruthseeker59 I was thinking the same thing. Very underrated guitarist. He was one of my guitar teachers in 93-94 and he told me then that he never wanted to be commercial. I have to think that's why he didn't get the recognition he deserves. He likes more abstract playing. I dunno. I think he's a fantastic player. His solo stuff is a bit different but I still love it.

I spent the whole day just replaying it over and over again. Don't talk to strangers quickly became my favorite, but pretty much the whole album was amazing. What a voice!
DIO tienes la voz mas maravillosa y espectacular del mundo lejos , con permiso de BRUCE por cierto. Tu nunca moriras , nunca , en donde quiera que estes estas vivo .
That girl at 1:32 brings back memories. We would spend hours getting dolled up for a concert. They used to sell feather earrings & feathers woven into leather laces with clips on the end. They were roach clips but we clipped them on our cloths. Anyways, we got all dolled up, did the big hair thing, hung feathers & bandanas all over and after the concert we would come out all sweaty, hair flat, makeup running and crushed feathers. :) Coming out looking like a drowned rat was always the sign of a good concert. :)
