God bless you! I replaced my front door speakers today for the first time and everything was going smooth until it got to trying to reattach that connector to the master window switch. I was just about to give up and take it to the dealer when I found your video. Others showed how to disconnect but not how to reconnect. That click was the secret. Thank you so much!
Thanks Ruthe. I was so proud of myself, I was doing a happy dance in my driveway! Wish I'd had someone else hold the phone so it wasn't so shaky. Also, did you hear my little dog, Lily, whining in the background? She was in the backseat and thought we were going for a ride!
Fantastic! This stupid connector came right off, but didn't want to go on. Ive been searching, found an OLD LADY of all things, didn't show it actually happen, but explained it perfectly. Grab the sliding part of the connector, pull back over the wires. It will click and hold in place. Its an internal spring that holds the connector in place. Thanks Cathy!
Thank you cathy for your sharing. I have a 2002 Toyota altis with my driver window not moving up or down at times ( Looks like it needs a level surface to work at times . You have given me so much confidence for me to proceed on my own I need to know how to buy from Amazon first Thank you
Thank you for explaining how to reconnect the electrical harness to the switch module. I think many people get stuck at that point.
You're welcome. I was amazed how easy it was. Even the most mechanically challenged could do it.

So glad this video helped. Gotta love UA-cam. Thank you for the feedback.
I did the same thing. I got a quote for $580 from my mechanic, but then replaced it by myself for $25. Good video
Wow!! That is crazy that the dealer was quoting $815! Great job of not only replacing the part, but filming it too!!

That was really good! Thanks for making a video of you doing that and especially with your additional comments here and there.
Thank you Cathy! Pulling that little white part was the missing ingredient that was driving me crazy! Thank you so much
