"When people wear a suit, apart from looking better, , it gives them another edge to their important meetings, or their first dates, or dinner dates." How true. The care put into crafting suits or any other fine clothes really speaks about the dignity of our body and, in turn, makes us aware of *some* of our value.
Dear Sir Sexton,my mother was one of the most beautiful dressmakers/seamstresses you ever were to meet. Our coats were excuisite, and always with a matching hat.She made gloves,as well out of kidskin and lined them. Not only could she sew,but was equally talented in knitting, and all forms of needlework. The last item made for me was a panne velvet dress (The very old YARDAGE coming out of a cedar chest from grandmother),that was the color of a fawn. The collar was a Peter pan style, lined with cream silk, and the sleeves were leg of mutton...lol...and the bodice fitted, but slightly flared. All lined .I wore this with cream stockings and chocolate coloured small heels.marion my mother would have adored you!

I have just today purchased a gold collar pin from Edward Sexton. The pin is handmade in Hatton Garden by jeweller Toby McLellan. Every Gentleman should have a quality collar pin in his armoury along with cufflinks & a Swiss watch. I believe that if you are in a room full of 'suits', the chances are you will be the only person wearing a collar pin; it will elevate your tie (and you,) above every one else & will induce a severe case of 'collar envy'. Women have an uncanny eye for detail...they will pick up on the fact that you try...but not too hard! This will be an heirloom piece that will be handed down to my Son along with the aforementioned cufflinks & watch.

I've noticed a lot of these very elegant gentlemen are always slim or not fat. I'm regretfully fat, is it more difficult to make a fat man elegant and if so, is it in fact possible to have a big belly yet be gentleman-like in your suits and appearance? thanks for your help, slimmer ones.
It is an informal way, or common man’s way, of saying that the purchaser of the suit knows they look extremely good and Purchaser feels extremely good. It’s a way of saying that they look ready to grab the world by the balls.

Recently I got a couple of tailor made suits and they were much better than off the rack but I d rather dress more comfortably and make more of an effort in the gym to gain that manly alpha poise that no suit can replace. The Mafia and many of you crooks wear suits when they gun people down, but at least it makes them look good and feel better.
Redblade we get it you're a loser.
You don't get it, because you're a brainless tosser.
What is wrong with you Redblade why do suits bother you so much? Are you some sort of inquisitor who dictates what people may or may not wear?

There are not many gentlemen like that.
Ooh nice
And that's the way to make a selfish and miserable world when everyone adopts that philosophy in life (is this not what we have already)?

Smiled and nodded when he said "and they look the bollucks". Say it like it is, with a touch of class. Nice one Edward.
"And they look the bollocks..." That comment made the whole film. Cheers
I was just about to say that.
True that. To watch this genteel, highly refined Brit decide to go OG and a little vulgar was the crown piece to this.

dbsill cockney I highly disagree!

They make women's clothes too
The suits these two tailors wear, look way better than the Maurice Sedwell suits I have seen. Totally going to visit!
Good to know they do MTM. More affordable for the average Joe.
This is a very beautiful trade skill to have great excellence.
Great video quality.
What would the range of a bespoke suit. No doubt it can vary.
absolutely LOVE what was said in this video .....

If anyone can tell me

Honestly, the best advice I could give would be to find a reputable tailor in your area and take up an apprenticeship with them

Name dropping I see.
Love the looking the bollocks quote, when your as good at your craft as Edward Sexton you can say what you mean, and mean what you say!
What a name
Could you explain me the bollocks thing please ? My English is bad 🇫🇷

With the phone number ending in 007, the suits have to be worth it.

The puckered stitching on that red velvet lapel. Uh-uh.
I think he doesn't shop in H&M...

I want to meet these guys as a dying wish

that's right it's not made in a sweat shop in china....these suits are made in a sweat shop in England. brilliant. cheers.
