I got emotional with you! I totally understand your feels about the birthday dress. My little girl is still a newborn, but I'm already working on making her some wearables and it brings me so much joy to know that when she wears these items, she will be wrapped in my tangible love for her. It really is so special

When I make socks I always find I need more foot rounds when I do a heel flap and gusset. If I do a fish lips kiss heel, my foot will be 65 rounds, but with a heel flap I need 85. Makes me less excited to do a heel flap if I’m honest 😂
ooooohhh that is a very interesting tidbit of info! that makes a lot of sense. and dang it.. hahaha that is also making me feel less and less excited about those heel flaps... ahaha

The dress is gorgeous! I have some of that pom pom yarn and now am more apprehensive of working with it 😂
