Major Malfunction At Almost Every Railroad Crossing In Stockton Aug 8, 2023

Railroad crossings on both the UP Fresno Sub and BNSF Stockton Sub in Stockton keep activating and staying active for a while with no trains coming. Don't know if its power related or somethings going wrong with the railroads system in Stockton.

Its enough to have one crossing malfunction but almost every single crossing on 2 lines??? Wow, what a day!

Was the cause perhaps the weather changing the temp of the rails?

Oof bet it was chaotic in Stockton today😂 and earlier this morning I heard something on the radio about someone smashing through the gates at midway road in Dixon

If you mean UP maintainers, UP & BNSF maintainers were already working on the problem down at the UP/BNSF Diamond. Don't know how long it took to be fixed as I left after this.
