no worries about the vid length, vids are great and so helpful, skyrim is a mass mess of mod sorting, really helps to have an experienced player lay it out and give good choices ... thanks for you work.
hi there! Love your mod lists! amazing stuff. really appreciate you sharing it all with us. What combat animation are you using for the 1h axe at 1:16?? looks very natural
One with nature is awesome. It's kind of cool to see pack of wolves to flee, or mudcrabs minding their own when you're close. It also pretty easy to patch new animals to this mod, it just uses OWN faction and spell effect to set those behaviors.
Excellent video! I’ve been going through the Elden Ring weapon arts mod, and I’ve yet to find the throwing sword one like you have. Im sure it’s in there, but whew are they OP. The judgement cut mod is just too badass 😂😂
Wow! I ALWAYS enjoy your videos and the mods that you cover, but i did find this one to be very timely. I am just now working on building a new mod list , and am in the planning stage where I give thought as to what mods to use. Every one of the mods you mentioned here are being considered, and it was great to see them all in action! I can imagine that you are extremely busy with your projects, but I'm hoping that you can find a bit of time to help me with a couple of questions: 1) Do you find that "Enemy (R)Evolution of Skyrim " fits and works well with most perk and combat mods? 2) In a past video you mentioned a perk overhaul mod called "Master Of One". I would like to know if you still use it and whether its a good fit with combat mods or the mod "Rapid Bow Combo"? And finally, 3) Have you used some other mods by the same author, like "Curse Of The Firmament" or "Legacy"? I am really intrigued by these! I really do like the mods you highlight in your videos about building a list and find that i want to use the same ones more and more. Thanks for another great video!
Would recommend checking out his modlist. A 2023 version is usually linked in his older vids. Regarding E(R)ES, I'd recommend testing it out to see how the spells and perks are distributed among enemies and if you like it. If you can understand how to tweak the ini files to make it to your liking, it's worth a shot. Info on SPID page. Also depends what perk and spell mods you are using. There's potentially a chance that enemies use less powerful spells due to the wider spell pool and become easier because their spell AI may not be advanced enough to know what spells to use when. They know how to use their vanilla spells well though. There are also alternative mods that distribute spells and perks e.g. Vokrii Perks for NPCs, Mysticism spells for NPCs and others by that author
@@Vinyls77 Thank you! Great answer! That's my approach right now! I used to just slap mods like these into my list, along with others, with no idea if and how they worked together. This time i am approaching it pretty much as you described, I have two wabbajack lists right now. One is 'Eldergleam", which I'm keeping as my "have to play Skyrim and kill some enemies" list, while I use the other list, "Anvil", to build the "suited best for me" version. I am seeking to go minimal on this one, instead of the usual approach of "OH, that looks and sounds good! let's throw that one in too! " I want the best combat, perks, animations, graphics, etc, but will not sacrifice fps, having less scripts and draw calls, and good looking graphics. It's going to take a LOT of exploring, learning, and testing, which is why I have that second list for playing for now! . . . . And i have SO much to learn about conflicts and optimizing. Thank God it's so much fun also!
These overhaul mod lists are awesome and great guides thanks for showing relevant gameplay! I haven’t started modding but am planning to start with Skyrim because of these videos :) I want to still be able to play some characters unmodded for achievements and the vanilla experience. Is this hard to do or can I just launch the game from steam and it will work fine?
Hey soft do you know any mods that change the Magic FX and colors for resurrection spells? I swear in one of your old videos you covered one but I haven't found it.
AI gotta be able to dodge roll like you, or you are just in damn near god mode. In fact AI needs to be able to do what I can do or its moot imo. Thx for the vid
Just recently moved from Xbox modding to pc modding and already feeling the master race coming over me, but one thing that I wonder is: Xbox has a lot of bundles while PC seems to have none. Like on Xbox there's a Jayserpa bundle collection containing all the quests and lines expansion in a single download. Are there really no issues potentially having hundreds of mods sorted out in my Mod organizer?
It's fine. It's pretty common for modlists to have thousands of mods nowadays. Mine is at 1200, but I've seen modlists that are 4000+. There is a limit of 255 to the amount of .esp/.esm plugins Skyrim can handle, but most mods now are flagged as .esl which has a limit of 4096. All you really need to worry about is compatibility. A lot of mods need patches in order to work with other mods, but it's generally down to simply reading the description page for each mod you install to make sure you have everything you need.
@@JonnyCrackers thanks, that clears stuff up. So as long as I keep the "active" next to the "light" (as written in Vortex) in my plugins under 255 I can keep downloading mods?
How do you dodge so quickly? I use MCO combat/dodge with Precision and Valhala combat. I really like it, except when I swing my weapon, I'm stuck for a bit until my char gets in default position, THEN I can dodge/parry. It makes dodging rough. I'd really like to be able to interupt an attack to dodge, like you seem to be able to. What mod allows it?
which mod do you use for the dual wield block ? And do you play with gamepad? Because I'm trying to get dual wield block working with a gamepad and with MCO as well. please let me know. Thanks !
Bro if you put your modlist into a fool proof collection so its a simple press download dlc for all us modding noobs you'd kill it! I'd buy it in a heartbeat lol royalties to all the mod authors as well of course but still. This open animation replacer, plug ins, masters, patches stuff is complicated for computer dummies like me. Just take my money lmao
You're a G for actually posting your mod list and helping people build out their mod stack instead of paywalling it behind patreon.
What a great start to a rainy Saturday morning

10:08 what is this beautiful look on character? Special CBBE or UNP?
I use CBBE with 3BA

Really want to get back into Skyrim. Any ETA on your mod list download?
Great video! Found new mods for my playthrough. Is this the default NAT ENB or have you made personal edits?
Only some very minor edits
What Nordic ruin texture are you using?
What mod interface you use in this video?
Another winner
thank you for "keep" uploading Sir, don't know why but Skyrim UA-camr seems rare nowadays to uploading a video
Haha well I've definitely slowed down
Any good animation mods for Draugr? Or can they use the same as humanoids?

what hair are you using? This looks awesome!

What mod are you using to make your magic look so realistic, like the fire coming from your hands?
Embers XD with the combination of the ENB
@@SoftGamingOfficialAnother banger, Thank You!!!
what mod are you using to make the weapon at the back ? Great video as always !
The Restless Dead + SCAR doesn't seems to work for me. All the draugrs uses the vanilla movesets. That's not the case for other NPCs.
Any idea?
Draugr are not supported, there are some MCO animations for draugr on Nexus. But to me it makes sense the undead are slow and just use basic attacks

It's called dynamic dodge, it has a feature that let's you interrupt actions to dodge

Anyone using Lawless and/or Rogues'n'Raiders can attest to which one is better, or even if mixing them both works?
Lawless is the best one
Hey smooth! What combat idles are you using? The one handed and two handed combat movement looks clean af, as well as the bow draw animation?
They are indeed smooth, they come from the smooth moveset and the bow is dynamic bow animation

MCO has built in dual wield blocking, although load order can affect this. Most notably you need to load the MCO plugin after Valhalla combat plugin

Dynamic dodge and currently using DMCO but I usually use TK dodge RE
