Dragonborn's Bestiary is a an exceptional mod, so simple (the best ideas are) and expansive of existing content, it could enhance _all_ Bethesda-design games! As a Morrowind boomer I can imagine this idea, adapted a bit differently, really improving the experience of playing the game. Watching MATN playing Morrowind recently, it's been annoying seeing him repeatedly attacking Dunmer and Scamp enemies with _Fire Bite_ and muttering, "gosh, these fellas are tough!". A mod like this-perhaps implemented diegetically, like an 'academic' journal quest offered in the starter zone-would significantly ease the early game learning curve for systems not explained anywhere outside of the paper manual!
and to add, mco animations are easy to convert to be bfco. The hardest part is getting all the folder structures set up correctly for the convertor. The page for mco to bfco leaves out a very important step, read the comment section to see specifics
Nice overview SG. We were pretty spoilt this year with some brilliant mods. It's hard to believe that after 13 years there are still so many outstanding mod authors updating and upgrading this game. Something for every taste is available. Looking forward to when you drop a complete modlist for 2025 ;) and wishing a happy Christmas break and a hopeful New Year
Thank God you're back, been watching your videos after returning to Skyrim after almost 10 years ! so far I've added 520 mods and with your tips and videos I've remastered the whole thing, you sir earned that sub and notification bell like no other skytuber i know xD !
Great mod selection, thanks for this video. For me personally the best changes to combat and balance this year was Zzyxzz's SkyValor and SkyTactics. SkyValor fixes enemy sponginess and balance and SkyTactics is honestly the best enemy combat style overhaul since Ultimate Combat.
You can get nether's follower framework and that allows you to recruit any npc as a follower, even Nazeem, I sure hope this information doesn't cause any harm to the beloved redguard skyrim character 😃.
Thank you SoftGaming , i am beyond gratefull to you for showcasing my mod , glad you liked it! New textures also coming soon
