I used 2xB1 1xB2 1xBX 2xAAT 1x Count D. Rolling 72 red dice a game from 2 AATs that dont allow dodge tokens, they also never die because my B1s have mechanics. My B2s can hold any position as the KV repair droid can return 4 wounds to B2s as they are 2 wounds 1 model.
I feel that B1s need to be on this list. They are so cheap and that enables running expensive units like dooku maul or the aat. Without them this faction would not work as well as it does

One thing I will say about my experience playing separatists is that if you don’t want to bring a t-series tactical droid, but do want an aat, always bring the b1 droid pilot and linked targeting array to give your tank a free aim and start the chain for only 1 order. Droidekas are just a very solid unit that I bring 2 of in most lists without any upgrades. B1’s don’t necessarily need heavy weapons to be good but the extra basic model is almost always worthwhile. Staps, b2’s and cad bane are the only units we have that aren’t amazing imo, everything else can work in most lists, we have a great army and I play against my friends a lot and usually hold my own, clones are the only thing that usually stand a chance if I try to make a good list so I always try different lists so it feels better to play against for my opponents.
Honestly just run at least 2 radiation heavy gunners in your B1 core with at least 1 B2 core and use droidekas as a sentry gun basically holding line of sights the whole match and you’ll do pretty great. I’m 5-0 on my buddy who plays republic , but I did lose a lot at first just had to adapt my strategy and now I love the separatists.
While Grievous might be a little overpriced nowadays, I feel there's little room to compare him with the wookie chieftain.. For one, he has relentless instead of charge, Arsenal 2 and a gun(upgrade) that can shoot out of melee.. that in itself is super valuable because it means you can keep him tied up in melee (where he's safest most of the time) while still dealing damage to other enemy units. As well as him having one more wound and red saves by default, with surge if he uses a dodge. And another important thing, he has two command upgrades and one of the best one-pips in the game.

Issue I've run into is not being able find some of the models...anywhere...i.e. Maul, Seps droid commander and also on seperate note anakin for republic. Any suggestions?

They are very good no doubt, and instrumental to the Separatist playstyle!
B1's for Separatists are an S-tier unit. They are number 1 because they are the best Core in the game.

I wish I could find a Darth Maul. They are stupid expensive if you can find one. I hope they reprint him soon. He is the only CIS unit I don't have.

Not a bad list, mine are Maul, AAT, Dooku, B2s, then the T-series. I’m sure that will shake up with new units.

I think maul is thematically cool but idk how good he is. Just my opinion, I generally play against myself so I probably don’t know all the strata
