- Renault container & Palfinger Epsilon timber crane equipped with Gierkink GMT050 grapple saw especially for tree removal in city areas.
With this combination cutting down a tree doesn't have to take long. Safe out people and material, truck should have come anyway to clean up all the branches from the tree.
The truck doesn't make much noise, less than a garbage truck and the road is never completely closed so you don't have to stall the traffic.

Looks like you don't have much control. The bigger tops you took seemed to fall where the weight was going. In this instance, it was towards a building. Is it not as bad as it looks? For the time you saved it seems invaluable. I would love to have one either way, just curious is all.

. That tree was easy pickins for that thing and looked like he would lose any top taller than 25 ft. I saw aspluhnd using one the other day. It's wreckless as hell and not very controlled once cut is made. Handy as hell though when the trees are small and there are no obstacles .

I’ve worked much with the exact same grapple saw.
It can only Tilt in one direction, so when you position the grapple saw behind the tree, so basicly towards you, it wil fall towards you.
How much time did it take to dismantle that tree?
20 minutes in total. From starting till cleaning up the leaves.
Better to go with a Mecanil, much more control!
