Got one 2006 WK two months ago for 1500$ and I restored it completely for additional 1500$, love it, love QD2 it just makes everything look easy. Previous owner was shocked when he saw how it became 😍
This offroading adventure is a testament to the thrill-seekers who find joy in conquering the rugged terrains. The engine roars, the tires crunch-it's a symphony of adventure.
This is a perfect example of why I don't trust 90% of the morons trying to 'spot' me - they assume so many things it clouds their judgement... They expect a Toyota or Nissan with mechanical locked diffs (note the comment in the vid "he's gonna have troubles here" before he even tried) so they try and guide him as though he's in a Patriot front wheel drive... which thankfully he ignores.
What is it with these people when a Jeep lifts wheel, they all go OMG there is a wheel off the ground. If you go off roading you are going to lift wheels, it's how the car it handles it.
I have an 05 with QD2, cluch packs are engaging all the time now until its warmed up, like a couple miles of curves, then they release like they're supposed to. Anybody got any ideas? A flush didn't touch it.
Have you added the required diff oil additive? It comes in a 120ml bottle for each diff. It’s only needed for the QD2 diffs. It’s called LSD friction modifier. Got mine from Jeep. It’s a mopar product
@@bob_frazier You fell for the scam in other words. No need to replace F all - you wasted money on something that could have been solved with a few drops of the correct additive (Sorry if that sounded harsh.. but I see it time and time again in my business)
Terry Stratford if it’s Quadra drive 4wd it’s an all time 4x4, if it’s called “selec-Trac” you have the option of 2wd or 4wd, Both very good 4wd systems, if I’m misreading your question and you are looking to see if it’s an actual 4wd vehicle look for a straight axle in the front, the wj Jeeps has solid axles in the front and look for the transfer case shifter next to the transmission shifter that’s another way to tell.

99% of the time, QD2 comes in the 5.7 only, there are few exceptions related to optional systems that will allow a 4.7 to have QD2 but it is extremely rare

Good work, I've done the same in my WH and I have to laugh when the Land Cruiser guy's jaws just hang open in shock.
I would have liked to have seen him drive through that rut and leave the spotters speechless

@@samroyds6313 I replaced the front diff actuator/ solenoid, added the friction modifier to the oil and she's good as new.

I'm thinkin of buying a 2003 4.7 limited! Apparently they rear wheel drive but had the option of 4x4! How can I tell if it's 4x4 without driving it?
