Great performance, nice reaction, this song reached #2 on Billboard pop chart in 1972. Elvis almost didn’t record it because he was going through a separation and divorce at the time and was not feeling it, thank goodness he was convinced and recorded it, classic Elvis song! TCB⚡️
One of the very first records I bought. I had just turned 11 years old in August ‘72..with some birthday money in my pocket walked to a Ma and Pop store on 5th Ave in my Brooklyn neighborhood with my heart set on buying a Jackson 5 record..which I did buy their Greatest Hit album, and as I was getting ready to pay for it, I’d noticed at the last second the picture sleeve of Elvis’s 45 rpm single behind the counter…Now I had no idea who Elvis really was or of the musical impact he made at that time…nor did I realize at the time, the guy who sold me the Elvis 45 record didn’t give me the picture sleeve instead gave it to me in a plain white sleeve…needless to say I wore out bought records.
Burning Love is one of Elvis's most iconic recognized songs in the world! I would say it's top 5 among all of his songs.

The studio version is much tighter, the live version feels a bit rushed, but his high energy performance is so powerful.
Fun fact That the high notes were sang by a guy in the Gospel choir. Somebody told him That when Elvis pointed at you by rehearsals or so you have to do something creative and That was when Hunk a hunk.burnin AAAAh! The guy sang this high notes Till then and Elvis laughed and loved it.❤

Have you reacted to “Mystery Train” from the 50s? If not, then please do. It has a really neat rhythm, and the young lady may like it.
This is one of a few songs that Elvis would have some trouble with the lyrics. He would mumble the words, repeat certain parts or just plain forget them at times. Unfortunately, it wasn't performed as often as I wish it would've, but most versions are really good.
