Yes, I saw Elvis Presley in concert in 1975 at the Norfolk scope Colosseum in Norfolk, Virginia. I was 17 years old at the time and was blown away by him that day. it still is my favorite concert I have ever been to in my entire life and I have been to many!😊

I was born and raised on Elvis from my Mom.. to me his voice is just amazing.. He passed away when I was 10.. I never saw him in concert but my Daddy took Mom to see him in 1974. My Mom is now 82 and in a Nursing Home.. I take her out twice and week and she listens to Elvis on Sirius Radio the whole time. It's her happy place.

I had an opportunity to see Elvis live in concert at the Providence Civic Center in Providence Rhode Island about a year or so before he died...BUT...I didn't go. I was much younger then and I was busy with other things at the time. Besides, I reasoned that I would see him another time someplace else...The thought of Elvis dying at age 42 never entered my mind . This is just an example that you shouldn't put things off because you never know what's going to happen. I'll always regret not going to see him when I had the chance to.

Love this song. This was the first time he had performed this song in Vegas and he was nervous that he might forget the words, so that's why he had the music sheet in his hand. Only Elvis could pull this off 💕
I saw Elvis 10 times at the International Hotel in LasVegas in 1970 and in concert 3 times, 1975 , 1976 and 1977. He was absolutely the best!! Unrivaled and unequaled!!❤❤❤

When you understand how good he was there is no turning round - that´s it ("That´s the way it is" is the name of the documentary) - Fun fact - this was one of the songs he almost ever has problems to remind the Lyrics. He knew it but he incedently changed the verses... so this time he read it from the paper. Or sometimes Charlie Hodge in the backround sangs it extra loud or whatever, put under a chair....

Beautiful song. Beautiful performance. You guys are great! Thank you for bringing us this one! Fun fact: There is video of Elvis backstage talking about how nervous he was about remembering the lyrics to this song. He was worried about screwing it up. This is why you see him start off the song holding the music sheet and reading from it as it was an inside funny that his band knew about. In the end, he did screw up the lyrics on the last verse. If you go back and watch the last verse, you will notice him realize he screwed up the lyrics and he smiles as he looks towards J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. But Elvis was so phenomenal, he could pull off a snafu like this and it wouldn't even matter or be noticed by most. He was that great🎶🙏

Cissy Houston was w-Elvis for just 5 wks. in 1969 from July 31st-Aug. 28th. She left to be at home w-her children. On August 17, 1970 soprano Kathy Westmoreland replaced Millie Kirkham (she left to have surgery), who had in essence taken over some of departed Cissy Houston's solo duties for the filming of 'That's The Way It Is.'
