In my opinion, the 1977 live version is undeniably the best. It was weeks before his death but by the grace of God Elvis' vocal were beyond phenomenal. I watch it and am astounded how far down he reached in to his soul on the vocals.

I am an Elvis fan but enjoy other artists music. One of my favorites is Josh Groban’s “ You Raise me Up” also “Some Where You Are”. He is a Baritone but his voice can hit higher notes for tenors. He also got to substitute for Andrea Bochelli doing a duet with Celine Dion. She also did a duet with Hologram Elvis’s “If I Can Dream”.
He was young when Elvis recorded this he never played this live from what i found but, take my hand precious lord this one is very emotional but I enjoy it a lot so I hope you do too.

He was raised in the Assembly of God Church from the time he was able to walk, and also, when people said he was the King, he replied that there was only one King and that was Jesus Christ. If you search You Tube you can find many gospel recording that he made. He did one of the Ed Sullivan show back in the 50's, Peace In The Valley. You should check it out.
