Anna, dear- I have a challenge for you, if you are willing to accept it! What to wear when working in the garden, mowing the lawn, etc so I don’t look like a hobo? I can dress myself presentably if I’m going “out”, but I. spend a lot of time at home-and those clothes have to be flexible, in case I’m on the floor cleaning or some such thing. Gets cold here so I have spent the winter in long underwear and sweats! 😳😳😳
T-shirts are important, so I get men's 3 pack of quality hanes or fruit of the loom. They last a very long time. I get the smallest size.20 bucks for 3 different colors
I also live in Florida. Wish our spring or fall lasted longer so I’d get to wear my favorites more often. Blazers aren’t much of a thing t the beach. Sadly. 😩
@@marieoliphant8305 im in los angeles, next to Manhattan beach so a blazer would look odd although i have 1 vintage leather blazer and black wool blend im more of a trench coat, denim jacket lady
I just removed sewn-on collar and cuffs from a 30 year old sweater- now I have a NEW sweater ( worn very little because I don’t like attached collars/ cuffs).
JCPenny's has the 'St. John's Bay' brand I've always had really good luck with their short & long-sleeved t-shirts, both in crew & v-neck, and in a variety of colors. Really good quality for a decent price.
I just wore a red/orange maxi to church this morning and received so many compliments. I paired it with a cropped white denim jacket. Highly recommend Elizabeth and James. Quality maxi dresses and not too form fitting. Yet, not frumpy.
So many juicy classic ideas to look pulled together in this craftily selected spring "best of's" Anna! I love that you showed us previously purchased/loved items/favorites. I totally adopted the tailored short and look so much more pulled together every time I put them on. And yes together with the high neck tank. Very slimming and classy. I got the ones you recommended from Banana Republic last year and they are fabulous. I paid more than I wanted but here it is....worth every penny. Fast fashion not always so cool it turns out. Thanks for the fashion advice and keeping us looking our best! Oh and yes fellow Florida chick here....heyyyyyyy! LOL
Your taste is impeccable. I relate to your style so much. I live in Atlanta/ Macon. The weather is so hot and humid so much of the year. There is a way to be stylish and comfortable. Your hard work is appreciated very much. You make it look easy, but I know it is not.
Quince silk skirts are some of my most-worn items, they’re absolutely perfect and the $60 price is just incredible! I’ve seen polyester “satin” ones for more, a fabric I just can’t wear, it doesn’t breathe for one thing. I wear my silk skirts for at home everyday, why not? This is not impractical at all for me, I neither cook, nor clean, nor garden and have no children or pets (at the moment, I’m hoping to get a cat or two). Silk rarely needs washing, unless I get a spot or sweat in it. In English, Quince is pronounced Kwinss, rhymes with Vince, since, etc. COS rhymes with boss or loss. Our Spanish-speaking friends might pronounce it Keenz-eh (Castilian) or Keenz-ay (more in the Americas), but since it’s an American brand, I go with the English.
You asked us to let you know what we think. What I think is that I always learn a LOT from your videos. I have noticed that when a purchase works out really well for me, it’s usually because YOU recommended it. Your latest coup was the Ultra High Rise from Abercrombie. I’m only 5’2” and would not have guessed this would be right for me. But these pants have a waist where MY waist is - and so look much better than other pants. I am extremely grateful. Thank you for your channel. (Of course, I am also HAUNTED by the fact your suitcase broke. My suitcase was NOT expensive, so I feel it is much more likely to break than yours. WHERE did you find a suitcase to buy near the airport?!? Aren’t all the stores in by the gates?)
Hey Suzy!! I’m so glad those jeans worked for you! ❤️ Girl… the suitcase breaking was not cool! But the airport sells cheap quality suitcases for $$$ 🥴 I was basically forced to buy an overpriced suitcase! 😫
Living in Florida I don’t get to wear my favorites very often. Even while jeans. Season is soo short. I’m a blazer girl and I’m lucky if I can wear all mine in one winter. 11:24
Luckily we have cool mornings / evening through April in North FL but I’ve started bringing my blazer to places where I know the a/c is going to be cranked up in the summer now 🤣 But also for travel! ❤️
I was in old navy picking up a much needed cheapo wide brim sun hat that i saw in the window - and happened upon a white tee for $19 that is so comfortable slinky and kind of cooling. The label says "luxe". I usually go into old navy for cheap flip flops for the beach (we live in hermosa beach and i destroy my flip flops). But now I'm gonna start keeping an eye out for tees.
Great video! I love all your choices…I MUST get those nude sandals, I slacked last year. And the Sambas. BTW I came across surprisingly very opaque, soft 100% cotton T’s at Old Navy- seek them out…
I like the Uniqlo shirts too but I wish they had different color options they are all such muted colors & I like brighter options for spring. I got a white one last year
Hi Anna ... I loved this. If this was all we had for clothes , it would definitely be enough. You look so put together, but not fussy...if that makes sense.I love every piece you have. I am busty so I love the higher tanks too..think they look so classy. Most people don't realize but our part of WV gets hot too. By May, unless you are in air conditioning a blazer is a no. I did not wear twenty percent of my clothes this winter. I really think this video will get me out of a rut. I am one of those people who need the sun to feel my best and we are getting more sunny days and now the weather people are saying Tuesday is supposed to be twenty three degrees in the morning and snow. 😢😢😢 You are always an inspiration Anna. It is always "good" to see you. Oh, I am loving your longer hair. My husband bought me the L'ange big curling brush or whatever they call it that was everywhere last year on the internet. He got it for me for Christmas. I actually look like I have decent hair now😂. Have a great week. ❤❤❤
I'm in love with Carve's Dylan gauze tops. They're perfect for those of us who can't stand to wear button downs but like the look. It's a buttoned pullover with a mandarin collar. And I'm also now all about the wide leg jean. I don't even care if it makes me look 2" shorter than I am, I'm COMFY! Loving that summer weights are coming out, but I wish they could find a way to give them some stretch!
I actually know exactly what the Carve Dylan top is! 🤣 I’ve never heard anyone else mention them that’s so funny! It’s very similar to the Rails one except for the collar. Such a great fabric for hot weather! ❤️
I absolutely love the Abercrombie jeans in white, chambray...every color but those are great for spring/summer. Just had them delivered today, but they are too high waisted for my shorter torso. I am so bummed! Do you know of any with a similar cut that are mid to almost high rise? Love your faves, Anna. Not that you need more, but Target has women's ribbed slim fit high neck tank tops by A New Day in a ton of colors on sale today for $6.40. I bought one of each (34DD in size large). They're soft and wash well!
Ann, what about a floral dress with a solid color blazer with neutral shoes and a purse? Are you saying no to flowers all together? I love a pretty subtle print during the spring and summer. I'm in South Carolina.
Anna, Im so excited. I have been combing your UA-cam videos to find the Agolde jeans I heard you talk about last year and now you are talking about them again. Im sooo excited to get some because of how you love them. Thank you
Tres beautiful and wonderful selection as well and you look great in the various jeans which definitely show off your shape. However (and try not to be overly disappointed), I think that my favorite ensemble was the set with the trench coat. Women should corner the market on those and you rock it in one.
Another great video, Anna! Very inspirational. It's so good to see that a well put-together wardrobe does not have to be expensive when you have some classic basic pieces. Thank you!
I love flat sandals, but they have NO SUPPORT. Plantar fasciitis limits shoe styles for me. I love the footbed sandals, like Birkenstocks. Those really feel so comfortable and now you can find more styles with the footbed insole. Love the tailored shorts. I have a white pair that I got from Kohl’s a couple of years ago and I will wear them with a white or a black tank and a white blazer, and it looks so good! Thanks Anna for the great spring basics video!
I live in Everlane’s Way High Drape and Reformation’s Mason trousers. I wear them both to work and casually. I definitely concur on those. Same with Quince’s washable silk maxi and high-neck cotton tanks- I often wear them together in spring and summer, in fact. I’m always on the lookout for a good v-neck T-shirt and haven’t found a good quality one that I want to invest in. Most have necklines that are too high. I don’t want to flash cleavage, but I do want to elongate my neck.
I found the Tkees sandals from your video. They fit me, but the strap that goes around my ankle is very loose. Is that normal with these shoes? Hoping it gets better with time. I don’t want to slide on these. Thanks!
You look great in every thing. That's the beauty of being size 2 size 4. As far as the jeans, ladies size 10/12 do not look good in those highwaist wide leg jeans
I love a simple, solid-color knit dress, too, they’re summer staples. It’s just hard to find any in breathable fabrics, like cotton, rayon, etc. Plus, I don’t like Spandex. For the hottest days at home, I rely on my H&M linen-jersey dresses. I hope they bring in more styles and colors soon, the current cap-sleeve style doesn’t allow any arm movement, so I cut the sleeves on mine! They’re thin and fairly shapeless, so I only wear them at home, but they’re a Godsend for hot and humid weather. The thin, knit fabric gives maximum coolth and breathability, and doesn’t need ironing, so I love them. Ironing is such a hot chore that I wash and iron all my woven linen garments over the winter, so they’re all ready-to-go for this year’s warmer weather, hanging on a rail covered with a white cotton sheet (for sun and dust protection).
I still love your channel, even though I’m built kind of the opposite of you (5’ 7” with a petite top half, but large booty). I CANNOT wear pleated pants - they look terrible on me! I also like neutrals paired with bright colors or patterns.
Haha Anna I am coming for u again to try and help you say the word Quince. It’s pronounced KWENS. Like the actor Quincy jones. Qu makes a K-like sound like when you saw the word Queen. I hope that helps! Love u!
Do like your choices and wish to add; re H&M T-Shirts purchased two of them (but long sleeved) and was surprisingly impressed with their quality (fabric and workmanship) which came out of the dryer with little or no need to iron/steam. Also at the age of 76 years old and being realistic; I am no longer concerned if a garment will last me for ten years (🙂) so I also purchased one of their pull over/polo collared striped shirts and again can give a similar review. (BTW I have sewn for a number of years and know, no way could I make any of them for what they were in price and that's in Canadian $$$.) With no affiliation with the brand and just my opinion.
Thanks for the video - always fun. But I have to say it makes me crazy every time. I'm pretty sure the brand Quince is pronounced just like the fruit. 🤔
I don’t actually like the rolled raw edges or saggy pocket, either. I prefer well-finished garments. The look is very, very casual, not really for me.🙂

Thank you for this video. Finally someone who understands this Florida weather. It’s so hard to dress up here in Florida. 😅

I’m seeing this late but this was my FAVORITE video! SO helpful! It’s overwhelming for me to pick out clothing but this made it so simple. Thank you!
Wish I had your figure….you look great in everything!❤
She is such a good model :)

COS is pronounced like COSS, not COSE, FYI. Love your content!
Most of these brands (Jcrew, Revolve, Abercrombie) don't exist in Canada
A lot of things don’t
Can we get Amazon dupes?
Majority of the links don't evn work
Absolutely every UA-camr is featuring those satin skirts. They just look like a slip and the person forgot to put their skirt on over it m
My grandma would lose her shit over it

🖤
❤️❤️❤️
Girl clean up your hanger mess! You need nice hangers!
You are so adorable,I ❤ your style very classy and you have a great figure
Thank you so much Carmela ❤️❤️❤️
I’m so sorry… meant to text that AYR stands for “All Year Round” (not Around). OOPS!!! 😬
I can't see myself spending over 170$ on a dress pant. Cute but that's a lot for teachers like me 😟
The Everlane ones I posted are around $100 ❤️
sorry but the grey tee shirt has a saggy pocket. it looks like it will get worse. love the tan trousers! I want them
I don’t actually like the rolled raw edges or saggy pocket, either. I prefer well-finished garments. The look is very, very casual, not really for me.🙂
It’s definitely a casual tee! The COS tee is the one I would go with for a more crisp look ❤️
Still don’t like stripes
Home glow is a scammer !
You pronounced almost every brand incorrectky. Love your content but that is not cool. This is your job - take a moment and look it up.
Girl
Get nicer, matching hangers if u r gonna be a fashion influencer. Come on. Basic.
