- Today Aaron and I hit up lake Simcoe for some smallmouth! It turned out to be a very rough day out, but we did bring some fish into the boat!

She doesn’t want to reveal her spots apparently, I’ve caught and seen a few around the south east end of gorging island. I also think near snake island there may be some good spots

I guess looking back at it, it wasnt that bad. Just seemed rough because we couldnt get most of the fish to bit and were out there till the evening😂

Am heading up your way this weekend. Will likely send most of my time on Sparrow Lake as Simcoe does not seem to be user friendly for us visitors! Any suggestions to deal with the launch fees and (overpriced) per hour parking fees on Simcoe these days?
Honestly theres no way around it, even if you launch in cooch theres still a fee and quite a drive into simcoe! Sibbalds and beaverton seem to be the most reasonable
