whitebeard carried his crew on his back not as much as Law did but for the greatest yonko of his time his crew was pretty lack luster , I'm not talking about other pirates who swore alliance to him but of those on moby dick apart from oden, ace , teach , marco and diamond head everyone was utterly useless , Marco is useless yonko commander if there was any his only job is stall people till someone actually strong enough to fight them comes along
@@The_LightlessMarco is as powerful as a commander should be. He managed to hit Kizaru, Aokiji and helped Luffy to finally reach Ace in the summit war. In the war against Kaido and Big mom, Marco played a crucial role in healing as well as stalling 2 commanders of The Beast Pirates( King and queen)
@@Stance-u4y I see your first point but in the kaido fight it was kinda weird. He just stopped fighting and was like okay zoro you need to do it. Then he's just spectating the whole thing while his crewmate Izo sacrificing his life to beat 1v2 cipher pol after already fighting other people.
@@The_Lightless Yeah because Marco's objective was the new era to take over. He didn't went to the rooftoop fight probably because of the same sole reason. Without him stalling King and Queen, all the pirates within onigashima would have been obliterated given their strength. He was also weakened while Healing along with fighting the beast pirate commanders. Without him Nami would most probably have died to Kaido's Flames. He probably didn't knew about Izo at that moment when he died.
If a scene like this was made today, the animation would be god-like.
Depending on how far the new anime gets we may just get it.
